Literally nobody is stamping their feet and spitting the dummy out. We have managed to have civilised discussions about the current situation, and what plan and options the club may have to figure out how to fix it. Seemingly you’ve missed all of these. Oh and by the way, when the reason we are dropping points has a big part to do with missing key players in midfield because they are filling in at the back, then you’re going to see the same topics discussed. It’s clear we have different opinions on this, and we could probably have a good discussion but when every single one of your posts start with something along the lines of “I wish people would stop moaning” then any room for discussion disappears.

Who are you actually talking to? Or are you just speaking out loud? I ask that, because nobody at all on here has done anything of the things you mentioned. Nobody is asking for just anybody, nobody is asking for a 100m spent on the best defender on earth. The simple fact of the matter is that we have precisely ZERO fit and available senior centre backs as of this moment. And for a club that are looking to retain the title and gave Champions League to contend with, it’s very silly to dismiss fans who are asking for re-enforcements. Nat Phillips was somebody the club were looking to send to the championship this season & Reece Willians was playing for Harrogate last season. They are playing now out of pure necessity, not because we had some long term play for either. Now, Reece Williams may have been in and around the cup games but that’s about it. Not wanting to see either playing huge games in the league and champions league isn’t a ridiculous mentality to have. And I’ll end by saying that if either young lads play well, I’ll give them the compliments they deserve.

If that’s the case, then no I wouldn’t want to jeopardise any move that may be lined up. But what about Garay? He’s 34, fair enough, but he would definitely take a six month contract to get us through if we are just looking for a stop gap signings. I know a certain somebody is screaming constantly for the youth to be given a chance, and whilst I am all for youth players being developed, there is just far too much at stake this season for us to rely on them. Let them play in the FA Cup tonight by all means, but I don’t want a situation where Reece Williams is starting a ton of big games.

It entirely depends on what sort of budget we have. If it’s less than £20m then it’ll be difficult, but there’s quality to be found. From the way Klopp has been speaking, it sounds like it’ll only be a stop gap until the end of the season. So the question is.....who’s a better defender out of Sokratis & Mustafi?

I’d say Mustafi has had a shocking number of years and it’s not fair to bring him up as a suggestion to the people who think we need a defender.

I like the look of that Bissouma from Brighton, he would be a good one to look at for us as he is good at holding the ball and has a creative eye to go with. Be a nice replacement for Gini’s position. Shame that Gini won’t re-sign, but considering how vital he has been for us over the years I don’t think it’s unreasonable for him to want wages that reflect that importance. I really hope the club aren’t undervaluing him in the contract offer, because that’s what it seems like from the stalemate both have been in. He deserves one great last contract with us, after all he has done on relatively low wages for his stature in the squad.

Yeah that was madness, even though I was obviously enjoying it. Giroud up top to hold the ball and have Werner just off him ready to sprint in behind from through balls. But no, you stick a 19 year old lad up top, and expect him to get past our defence on his own?

I’m failing to see a hint of any certain style of play that Lampard is meant to be bringing to this Chelsea team. Granted, I don’t watch them anywhere near as much as anybody here but when I do watch ive seen two or three different approaches per game. Starting with Werner up front, hitting balls in behind the defence for him then switched up to Giroud and Chilwell just banging crosses into him. Werner is good enough to have an impact every game, same goes for Havertz. Lampard doesn’t know what he’s doing and it’s the individual brilliant of the players that have gotten him this far, I just don’t rate him at all.

Pixar’s Soul - 9/10 Weird, but fantastic effort. The animation is another level, and I loved the world building in it. There is a great message in there too, which is quite powerful.

We need a centre back in the upcoming window. It’s all rosey when Matip & Fab can play together, but as we are seeing, Matip is far too injury prone to rely on for the rest of the season. Keita is getting on my last nerve with his injury’s as well. Back one game and then injured again sums up his time here. If he isn’t going to be on the pitch regularly, then cash in.
