That was my response to cicero's "he was ripped apart".... I meant to say he was not being ripped apart from a long time, he actually has been brilliant for the last 3-4 years but probably yeah he is declining but he wasnt getting ripped apart all the time like yesterday.

wasnt busquets injured in the beginning of the last season and barcelona suffered a lot during that period? Or was that the season before, I cant remember but your statement is not correct, because without busquets barcelona will struggle a lot. He is the best for me in that central defensive mifdield position, no one is even close to him, comparing him to casemiro is a joke. Casemiro cant distribute the ball well , all he does is throw tackles left, right centre all the game and he is actually lucky not have sent off few times in crucial matches last season. He doesnt have a football brain, just aggressive on the tackles but doesnt offer anything more but on the other hand he doesnt really have to do anything more because he has Kroos and Modric for those duties, but Busquets does a lot more than just winning balls, his one touch passes to find his teammates are impeccable and also the way he gets the ball out of strong pressing is also very great

Sorry I missed this, I believe most of them are sideways to switch the play. I need to watch him play more carefully because it looks like im the only one who thought he is overrated and I could be really wrong.

better than Gabriel, yes, but I think Holding is a better defender than Chambers. Chambers is too error prone

How much do you guys rate Toni Kroos? I know many Madrid fans claim he is the best in the generation but is he really? I feel he is overrated a lot because of his pass % accuracy. Most of passes look very simple as he passes to the player next to him and I havent really seen any good through balls or defences unlocking passes. His ball distribution also isnt that great because like I said he passes backwards or to the guy next to him and he is not a great dribbler either who can escape tight spaces by himself without passing it to the guy next to him. On the other hand Luka Modric is a beast but I strongly feel Kroos is highly overrated.

Where the hell would Alexis play? They are already fully loaded with Di Maria, Draxler, Neymar and Cavani being the front four. Unless they want to convert Sanchez as an out an dout striker and replace Cavani I dont see why they need him.

In a way yes, unless they are academy players or players who came in really young without any prior fame and made their name at that club, neymar was known all over even before he came to barcelona, agreed barca was a platform to make himself a bigger superstar but he was not a total unknown before. He wasnt from la masia for the fans go get mad at his departure and he conducted himself with decency the whole summer. Maybe he put some of his teammates in dark like you said, which we will never know for sure, but that has nothing to do with the fans as he never disrespected them as far as I can tell. Figo's case was different because like you said he lied and betrayed the fans, thats not the case with neymar. Had he made similar statements in the press and then left then I would understand the hate he is getting. Or if he was showing tantrums like Bale with Spurs who said he wont pariticipate in any further training sessions or pre season games inorder to move to Madrid. He did neither so I think the hate he is getting from some of you barcelona fans and sympathisers is not justified. I repeated the above multiple times in the other thread too already and there is nothing more for me to add.

I got what you are saying, my argument is just that neymar really doesnt owe anything to barcelona or its fans, he did his job and moved on. He was not their academy product like messi on whom the club took a massive gamble with his growth deficiency. He was brought from Brasil amidst some money related controversies and he gave his best to the club. He didnt move to a direct rival like Real madrid and he didnt give any wrong statements in the press like he is staying and this club is his life etc before leaving, no reason for bracelona fans (the match going fans too) to hate him really.

I havent used colours mate, just the font was big because I copied directly from ESPN FC website as it is. Im not saying neymar didnt make up his mind or otherwise as I clearly dont know. All im saying is as per the quote I posted in the other thread, Neymar told Pique not to post that picture in twitter because he told him he is still not sure if he is staying (which means he didnt confirm he was staying in barcelona) but Pique posted that picture and made a clown out of himself and also I dont believe his teammates are completely put in dark, maybe he didnt confirm them that he is leaving but they definitely know that Neymar is considering an option to leave.

interesting, I didnt know that its tied upto players contracts. Even then, I think many footballers do their own charity with most of them having their own charitable organisations anyways. Thats what Im trying to say mate, many players do that anyways and im almost sure most of them does more than 1% of their salary already. Dont get me wrong im not belittling Mata or his efforts, kudos to him but im just saying the number is not outrageous to invoke a discussion. Sorry if I sounded wrong

According to the new rumours Arsenal are trying to get Jean Michael Seri from Nice. I dont follow french league but from what I have read that guy is a fantastic midfielder and could replace Santi Cazorla, hope the transfer goes through

Just watched this video in full and I didnt really see where busquets had hard time keeping up with pogba except for one incident at 2:03. 47 secs: Biscuits won the ball clean from pogba (went for a corner though) 1:15: no one marked him and his shot was piss poor, should atleast hit the target there 1:26: he fouled messi 2:03: ill give him that 2:33: great pass to the opponent GK 3:12 : the ball was won clean by barca, not a foul. the ref is an idiot. 3:18: 3:21: Not even sure what were the pogba highlights in this video.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Barcelona are better off selling Neymar for some cash plus Verratti and use that cash to get Dybala? This way they can offload an extremely talented drama queen who throws his tantrums every summer and get a good midfielder who they were wanting since Xavi's departure and also get a world class young talent who has proven himself in Serie A and CL already.
