Cech looks done to me, he made few errors already last season, I think its the age and probably his reflexes are slowing down. Schesny (screw the spelling) was always average and I dont know if he improved at Roma or not. Ospina is good. Defenders: Per is gone isnt it? Chambers is dross and so are Gabriel and Jenkinson. Monreal is always solid and I assume Gibbs will be gone as there is a new guy and assume the same with Debuchy. MF: Elneny can be sold unless his wages are very low which I dont know. Xhaka needs to step up a lot more this season and I have mixed feelings about Coquelin and Cazorla with Cazorla's solely down to his fitness. Wilshere is injured again for long term isnt he? Dont know if Adelaide, Niles, Toral and Zelalem will actually get any minutes in the premier league, may be only in the league cup and first few rounds of FA cup. Forwards: Walcott is bad, Perez doesnt play and might be gone, I thought wenger sold campbell too, isnt it? Will Akpom get any minutes with Lacazett on board now? Sanchez's future is still a doubt so not really a terrific team to me which can challenge for the league and go deep into the champions league campaig...... oh wait ... nevermind, win or challenge for the europa league.

Why was he asking Ibrahmivoch's permission? Last thing I read he was released and not even part of Man Utd anymore?
-
thats what you mods are there for... lazy bum

What you said makes sense but I started this discussion with a different mind set. I was of the notion that they are saying "GOAT" as in greatest of all time which means its not specific to the UEFA Champions league but its universal. I understood it wrong then.
-
Yeah I know Maradona played for Napoli but when they said "goat" I thought they meant that overall but not specific to european cup/UCL I know mate, Im just joking about your age. Because of his goals, I cant think of anything else. But for an out and out striker doesnt Raul has a low goal per match ratio? Like I said I havent watched him live much except for an odd game in mid 2000s and during the 2006 world cup
-
Raul? Was he really that good, I never watched him play much. The others I either agree or I dont know about them (Im not as old as you to have seen Di Stefano, Puskas and Eusebio on live TV ). EDIT: Did you forget Maradona in that list or was that deliberate?
-
yeah true there need not be a "?" to be honest for that statement but still you are shoving your (or rather our) words down UEFA throat
-
Way to twist their words by missing the "?" at the end Balon.

I dont know about him either mate, tbh I never heard his name either but there is a huge rant going on about him in some facebook pages which I follow and this particular twitter screenshots caught my eye so I posted here so that we can know more from our folks in TF365. Apparently, Lucas Lima's agent is Neymar's dad and also Lucas dated neymar's sister and they have a very strong friendship going on between them and this is all making Neymar push the board to go after him and bring him aboard. I dont know how much is this true but this is all what I read so far and could be absolute bollocks
-
Some responses on twitter to Lucas Lima's transfer to Barcelona Translation Source: a page on facebook so I dont know if the translation to those comments is correct, but anyone who knows the language can correct if its wrong. Brasilian journalist reports that Barcelona has signed Lucas Lima. Brazilians replying to the news say the following: "-Not even on the level to play for Getafe. -The one who has a good friend/best man does not die a pagan. -In my next life, I want to be a friend of Neymar. -Keirrison 2.0. -Was he hired for his football or for his friendship with Neymar?" By the looks of it, it seems Barcelona board is doing an absolute terrible job by selling some good players from their own academy and bringing aboard bang average players from abroad. The tables have been totally turned now with Madrid (or rather Zidane) doing a good job by promoting their young players and reaping rewards while Barcelona doing what Real did in the last decade or so.
-
Well, that is a trend with many fanboys I have seen even in real life. A Man Utd fan who likes Real Madrid in spain and cheers for Ronaldo and thinks Mourinho is the best manager in the world. I have seen many folks like this in real life too, #HalaGGMUCR7
-
This is definitely true, atleast to some extent. You dont see the same quality fast bowling that used to be in the older days and also the pitches had life in them and the sport in general wasnt so batsmen friendly. Now its all about "entertainment" which is how far a batsman can hit a six just like baseball.

The loss to Pak in ICC tournaments was eventually bound to happen and I dont mind the loss but im very disappointed by the way our team played. I havent been following cricket in the last few years due to the heavy influence of IPL and T20 in general but I watched both the semis and finals in this tournament because of the opponents we played. What happened today was a total capitulation without any fight and thats what is annoying me the most against our arch rival. Congrats to @Azeem98 and pakistan team for the wonderful display. Im also aware of everything thats going on in twitter with Viru, Rishi Kapoor, Latif and others. Its really an embarrassing thing for legends like them to take part in it (especially sehwag and rishi kapoor because latif was merely responding to them). I hope this shuts up sehwag and hopefully he finds a decent job to keep him busy. I just saw the video of Latif after Pak's win today and he was spoke very matured and classy, I dont like him as a player or anything but he did a great job with the video today.
-
Too many racing hearts. Im already pretty stoked for the match and I will be honest Im not really following cricket much in the last few years when the IPL and T20 madness grew but this one is going to be one hell of an encounter so I will be watching live.

Bangladesh is becoming a favourite bunny for India. Absolutely despise them and infact I hate them a lot more than Pakistan at this moment. They are so childish and their fans are absolute cunts, especially on social media. Cant imagine the scenes if they really win something big in the coming few years lol
-
I meant the same mate.
-
Yeah agree with the above two, no point banning someone. Lets us all have a laugh every now and then
-
Its pretty stupid to even have a discussion about comapring the two academies, Sure Barcelona havent had a great player from their academy in the last few years but they produced a golden generation of players which made real madrid their bitch for about 10-12 years and also the main reason for spain to win three major trophies internationally.
-
Pretty sure there are zero number of people in this forum that agrees with you on this
-
I know few guys in real life who are exactly like this and they all support "ManU" and Real Madrid
-
Hopefully they are all tied with long term contracts so that any thieves cant lay hands on them
-
Says only the fans. If the owners, board or Wenger really thought this isnt working then they would have changed something like changing the manager himself or the staff for starters. The thing is its working for them, maybe not for fans who want the club to be competing in every competition but as long as the owners are happy with the CL qualification money and an FA cup every now and then nothing is going to change.
-
What about players? Clearly its not only in the powers of the club to keep the players as the players themselves have something to say about it. How long will those young players stay at Ajax if they dont win anything or if they are lured with lots of money? Ajax may not need money but they cant really stop a player if he wants to move anyways for too long. If not this summer maybe the next one but eventually they wont be there too long. Same thing with Monaco I reckon.

I have never seen that LB play before but I read on some facebook pages that he is a very good player. Hoping they are right and he indeed is a good player, Monreal still should be the number one LB as he is pretty solid most of the time and this could mean Gibbs is out which I dont mind. Still need a good CB since Kos is on the wrong side of 30 and Per is retiring, Gabriel is pretty bad IMO. Still not convinced that Wenger is really going for Mbappe.

I need atleast a day to read that and comeback (possibly) with something
