  1. I should have added mobile phone games. My bad, unless these are available on playstore. Not showing them, though.
  2. I don't usually plug Indian movies, but this is not like the usual Bollywood shit. It's currently being shopped around in film festivals, and it's getting good reviews. Plus, I am always up for quirky movies. The man who feels no Pain.
  3. Are there any good alternatives to Free Fire? I tried Pubg. Hated it. Was way too easy. I killed 14, 9 and 18 people in my first three rounds, apart from coming first in two of those three rounds. Have gone back to Free Fire, which is slightly tougher. But it only has two maps (don't really like death race), which I am eventually going to get tired of.
  4. Watched Searching and it was wonderful. I don't know how it did in the US, but here it was hardly talked about. Reminded me of the underrated 'The Gift', a smart thriller that didn't get its due.
  5. I liked Fabinho against Chelsea. Improved as the matched went on. Looked way off the pace, but in the second half he played few short, simple, forward passes to the forwards through the cluster of Chelsea players. I believe that when he finally settles then we might have a midfielder who can control games.
  6. Brilliant from Afghanistan. If they had showed a bit of common sense (it comes with experience) and they could have won any of those three matches. I totally see them winning matches against bigger teams in the World Cup next year. On a side note, I can't remember the last time I cheered a hundred against India like I did yesterday for Shahzad.
  7. Weird bloke, isn't he? The biggest xenophobe on the forum (once even wished death for an entire nationality of people) while pretending to be woke on political issues.
  8. Nobody here was bothered about it. Can't remember the last time there was such a lack of interest in an India-Pakistan match. Saw the highlights. Really poor match despite the easy win. The scheduling of this competition has been poor.
  9. This is somewhat like the nineties, when if Sachin failed then we lost. Kohli has taken on his role. I feel bad for the bowlers. It's now two away series, where they have consistently bowled out the opposition between 200-300,and the batsmen (baring Kohli and an occasional inning from Pujara or Rahane) have failed. What is the coach doing. Kumble was sacked for Shashtri, because Kohli found him too authoritative. But does Shashtri add anything? What's the bloody point of Bangar the batting coach. He was not talented in his playing days, but by God he could put in a performance of grit. Why is he not able to sort out the other batsmen. Kohli prepared for this series by training with Sachin in Mumbai, and it showed. Pujara played county cricket. The others simply decided to show up and hoped that they would eventually get used to the conditions. Some of them need dropping. Also, playing an unfit Ashwin in this test hurt the side. Fair play to England. They have serious problems with some of their batsmen, but their bowlers and all rounders saw them to victory, helped by our inability to take our chances. A better side would have won 3 of the tests against this English side.
  10. Scrap that. It will be done before tea. Clueless muppets.
  11. Fancy this finishing today. England's series. Just like the last series with South Africa. Bowlers' good work wasted by batsmen.
  12. Anything above 150 to chase in the fourth innings and we will lose this match.
  13. Sam Curran has bigger balls than his entire team. This is the second time the kid has stood up against good quality bowling (even if we lost it a bit in the second half of the day).
  14. Yeah the conditions helped us too. Mostly sunny when we batted.
  15. Found it on Twitter when the director, Motwane, retweeted it. Had a proper laugh for good few minutes. Here's the link by the artist if you want the version with better pixels. https://mobile.twitter.com/PrasadPBhat/status/1027175645695102976
  16. Joe Root just handed us this game with that terrible decision at toss.

Today I learned that Jason Statham was a diver, and performed rather poorly. Fuck it's odd seeing him with hair.
  18. Glad you liked that. I personally think it's one of the best noir flicks and an underrated gem.
  19. I loved Ready Player One. Despite the predictable end, I was left with a big smile on my face, because of all those pop culture references. I also got introduced to Buckaroo Banzai, which I watched later.
  20. The last two wickets helped to add 90 odd runs. Also, Virat scored 130 or so runs in the 10 innings in 2014 series and today he scored 149. One of the finest innings I have seen against a good bowling attack, especially Anderson who was amazing but unlucky. This could be like that 144 which Ganguly scored in the first trst match against Aus in Aus, while the rest of the team failed. That century charged the rest of the team and that series was nearly won.
  21. Skipped work today. So far it's turned out to be a wonderful decision. This has been a fantastic day of Test cricket so far. Kohli, though lucky, has shown why he is just a touch above others. He has worked hard for that. Fairly impressed by Curran. Reminds me of Boult.
  22. Rafa was upset with Xabi for a similar reason.
  23. Just coming back from Mission Impossible Fallout. The last one, Rogue Nation, had a better story, as in smarter, and was a better movie overall but this one is just so much fun. From the start to the end it's a highly enjoyable movie. The action and fight scenes are long but they never seem tedious for some reason.
  24. After Gini and Robertson, Shaqiri will be yet another smart signing from a relegated club.
