  1. Absolutely not an unusual procedure in Germany. Happens again and again all over the country. Did you think all these duds did magically disappear after 45?
  2. No idea, still seem to remember to having read somewhen it was the 3rd most used airplane route from Saarbrücken Airport after the Berlin, and Hamburg ones. Can't get my head around so many people being that spoilt they prefer to travel this small distance by plane although the bus transfer is cheaper, more often daily and even faster, if you take the check-in and out time into account.
  3. I'd exchange Eifel for Hunsrück or German fairy tale route, Rheingau respectively. Of course a question of personal preferences.
  4. We do Saarbrücken-Ensheim, it's even an International airport since it seves regularly lines to Palma, Antalya, Vienna, and - wait for it- Luxembourg! The last one is ridiculous, since an car travel to Luxembourg City lasts about an hour, and even the bus line that serves this route about 10 times a day takes only 1 and a half hour.. So this connection is absolutely environmentally sensible!
  5. The list only confirms my original claim, conservatism were per definitionem about preserving status-quo, and therefore inevitably pro-establishment! On a side note: The bolded values are debattable given the US have no governmental health insurance scheme, and anybody is allowed to walk around with a loaded gun.
  6. Odd comment. Genuine question: Is there any ideology more pro establishment per definitionem than conservatism? Since conservatism, in its very nature, is about preserving the pre-dominant values as well as power and ownership in their respective society. Indeed there's little things more ridiculous than a consevative pretending to fight the establishment.

  8. Matchday winner Bluewolf predicted 3 perfect scores. Matchday 2 1) Bluewolf 10 points 2) Coma 8 points 2) Rucksackfranzose 8 points 4) CaaC(John) 7 points 4) Michael 7 points 6) Tommy 5 points 7) Stan 2 points 7) Viva la FCB 2 points The table has been shaken up unsurprisingly. Table after 2 matchdays 1) Rucksackfranzose 15 points 2) @Bluewolf 12 points 2) @Michael 12 points 4) @Coma 11 points 5) @CaaC (John) 8 points 5) @Stan 8 points 5) @Tommy 8 points 8- @londonerlilie 7 points 8- @Viva la FCB 7 points 10) @nawoo 6 points
  9. I'd liked to stick with Karlsruhe, please.
  10. Surprised Leverkusen are committing themselfes so long to Alonso, since this extension means fuck all other than a higher compensation, if things go down the pan.

  12. Never want to hear Union politicians moaning about others wasting tax payers money again after learning the Bavarian state chancellery paid about 180k Euros for Söder photos last year only. Also it's questionable whether it's the Bundesland's tax payer task to pay for photos the Ministerpräsident is likely at least in parts using for CSU's electoral campaign.
  13. @Pyfish I apologize, if you were aware of it, still wanted to remind you 2.Liga have alreadyplayed their first match.
  14. Game 7: no goals Game 8: 61st min, please
  15. Viva' s Wehen 1-1 Magdeburg prediction was the only predicted perfect score. Also it's a bit sad londonerlilie won only 1 point with his very good Hamburg 4-3 Schalke prediction. Table after Matchday 1 1) @londonerlilie 7 points 1) Rucksackfranzose 7 points 3) @nawoo 6 points 3) @Stan 6 points 5) @Michael 5 points 5) @Viva la FCB 5 points 7) @Coma 3 points 7) @Tommy 3 points 9) @Bluewolf 2 points 10) @CaaC (John) 1 point

  17. Seeing the expectations of football fans who took part at the pre-season prediction run by kicker magazine got a feeling many might be in for a big surprise. Can't stretch enough that I hope to be wrong, but having seen Elversberg playing a lot last season I was perplexed Elversberg didn't dominate the 3.Liga by fluke, indeed they were by far the best team of the three newly promoted teams. Nonetheless many have them as the first relegation candidate. Although I might be wrong, I guessed this is because many 2.Liga fans don't follow 3.Liga and Elversberg aren't exactly a big name. In my opinion they will be better than most of those that voted thought, in fact I'm quite sure they will end in the first half of the table. They're for sure the best of the teams that were promoted to 2.Liga since Saarbrücken play 3.Liga (season 20/21) Well, we will see.
  18. Debattable Valencia even published a photography of van der Vaart holding one of their kits, when they wanted to sign him from HSV. A signing that didn't materialse in the end, if I remember correctly.

In Saarbrücken, not far from where my brother lives the explosive ordnance clearence service was on duty.As improbable as it sounds, duds from WWII are still being found regularly in Germany, even 78 years after its end.

  21. After he retired, Niels Petersen was interviewed by kicker about his career and football in general. Thought he has an interesting take on life as a footballer and shared likeable opinions on his strengths and weaknesses as a player, the German national team and the new tendency to finish the active time in Saudi-Arabia. After reading this article I'm tempted to buy Petersen's book now to be released. Disclaimer: Since Niels Petersen is a German and kicker are a German magazine, you might be able to guess which language this interview was conducted in. http://www.kicker.de/petersen-im-karriere-interview-ich-war-ein-goldfisch-im-haifischbecken-959959/artikel
