  1. Still very achievable for India, sadly.
  2. Yes. Manchester United twice, Liverpool in the 80s, arsenal in Herbert Chapman time.. Think Blackburn and or Huddersfield did it too? 4 has never been done in English footballing history.
  3. Saw wu tang at Glastonbury and they were incredible, even without method man they were superb. Totally got the atmosphere right and are probably the best live act I've ever seen in terms of how they get the crowd going.
  4. Lovely stuff, the arrogance of the English cricket fans is almost the same as the football. Hopefully Australia go onto win it. Anyone but India.
  5. Not that they want to but Liverpool can afford to lose Salah.
  6. Rod Liddle is an cowardly, odious woman beater, he needs his arse handing to him. People need to wake up and see the class of people we allow to leech a living off our society.
  7. A drone? Really? I've seen some bullshit excuses for launching illegal wars but this would be the number 1.
  8. What an absolute piss take that was, ridiculous standard. One Day Cricket has always been mickey mouse but the complete imbalance in favour of batsmen is making it more so, sadly it's creeping into real cricket now too.
  9. All the middle Englanders just gotta vote Corbs to Remain.
  10. Even as someone who thinks One Day is a waste of time, this has been a dreadful world cup for weather.
  11. Jeremy Hunt is a lickspittle, toady rat. Speaking up a war he is in no danger of, even Jesus would not forgive war cheerleaders like him.
  12. The UK has absolutely no need to involve itself in this, just stay out of it.
  13. The worst mistake Remain made was letting Osborne and Cameron be the face of it, the two architects of austerity were always going to haemorrhage voters to whoever opposed them.
  14. Two biggest clubs by an absolute mile to be fair. Both clubs with strong Scottish links in terms of players/managers too.
  15. Seems an odd location, do a lot of Scots follow English sides?
  16. Doesn't matter what war veterans do or don't think, their opinion is no more valid than anyone elses. I just hate this fake fawning over war veterans by both sides, it's the original virtue signalling and you can bet that most people know absolutely zero about World War 2 and just try to glean some sanctimonious glory from it themselves.
  17. The attempts by both sides to coopt the 'War veteran' argument is pathetic. The 'peace' part of the EU is only really about France and Germany.
  18. Really hope Everton can sort themselves out and compete at the top. I'd like to see them pushing the top 6 this year, I feel there are vulnerabilities at the London clubs in particular.
  19. Joshua seems a decent bloke to me, hope he comes back but I'm not sure he will, or not for long. One thing I'd say that differs between him and Fury is that I'm sure Fury loves the sport of boxing, he has an extensive knowledge of boxing history and most current fighters, in fact he actually said Ruiz is a good fighter a while ago. It might not make much difference in terms of fighting but I think the enthusiasm Fury has is a big help, especially at it usually means he understands his opponents better.
  20. The good thing about Klopp is he's not the kind of man who hops from job, he really buys into the whole club/fans ethos. It's why he was so perfect for Liverpool and why they're unlikely to lose him anytime soon. I just can't see him leaving for another top club until he's won the league, and even then I'd bet on him staying to try and build further. Obviously a club like Real Madrid is an opportunity no manager would just dismiss, but would he enjoy the transiet nature of the job and their fans? As someone else said, I see him leaving to manage the German national team in 6-7 years.
  21. If he wins the rematch it will be back on but it's a big if. Ruiz has the blueprint to win again.
  22. Quick hands go a long way. Anyone who watches ruiz v parker would know ruiz isn't shit. Still, joshua should be winning it with his size advantage. The rematch has his career on the line.
  23. A lot of Bayern Munich fans loathe Guardiola, see him as destroying the German heart of the club.
