Metal holder yeah but also just the weird ass flavours and fusions and probably most importantly prices.

"Masters of the Air", a long awaited Band of Brothers follow-up.

Did anyone end up checking this one out? I never did end up watching The Pacific but colour me interested.

@Viva la FCB, @Coma Can you tell me something about Emmanuel Iwe from Minnesota United? Read he had a trial at FCS this week. Saw he only played 3 matches with their first team, when googling him. That doesn't look that promessing in combination with him having to go through a trial?

Sorry sir I know nothing about him. I used to follow MLS a little more closely some years ago, more when we first joined MLS and Davies was around. Lost a lot of interest since and really only know the odd thing from going to a match once or twice a season.

It was wrong to let him go to start with. But in his shoes, I don't know if I'd come back after they treated me like that. Then again, it was Salihamidzic and Kahn who sacked him, right? They could always blame it on these idiots. xD

That would be my feelings exactly, We may need him but he definitely doesnt need us. Thats the only way you can try and sell him on coming back right? Look all those idiots are gone!

At the end of the day all the reports have said he hasnt made a final decision so we'll see what happens. If things keep going the way their going with the national team anyways Im sure the DFB would want to extend him too.

  5. The rumours have persisted and now this is the latest. I did think it was a mistake at the time to let him go but this whole circle would be utterly bizarre.

Bayern have made their decision - the club wants Julian Nagelsmann as new coach. Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are in concrete talks and negotiations with Nagelsmann's agents, talks are advanced. Bayern are offering a 3 to 4 year contract. Nagelsmann has not given his final approval yet. The DFB are still hoping he would extend his contract as Germany coach until 2026. As of now, Nagelsmann has neither accepted nor rejected either offer - but the tendency is rather towards Bayern [

  6. Kicker had a report come out over the weekend that Müller plans to retire at the end of his current contract in 2025 and that we will find a role for him off the pitch and work on integrating him there. Timeline would make sense its just sad, you know its coming at some point and Ive seen in with many of Bayern legends over the years but this one will just hit different.

Yeah, I've never played a single Witcher before playing the 3rd. It was great, they give you enough backstory while playing the game to get an understanding of what the fuck is going on in the story.

I thought the Witcher 3 was miles better than Cyberpunk, which I thought was an interesting game with interesting concepts but the beginning was so slow and honestly a bit boring to me that I never kept going.

Funny enough Im the opposite. Ive attempted The Witcher 3 probably 4 times that I can remember over the years. Ive gotten past the griffin and starting area once but thats usually where I die inside. I just loathe the combat and movement, feels like a slog to get through. I actually started reading the books a few years back and watched the series so I really want to like the game I just cant it seems.

Meanwhile Ive crested 300 hours in Cyberpunk and I think its pretty easily my favourite game of all time at this point.

  8. Its official. Including a two further season loan to  Stuttgart so I imagine the idea is Neuer is the hang them up at that point and have a chance to take over the #1 spot. Further word of a clause to terminate the loan after 1 more year. Makes sense.

Alexander Nübel has extended his contract at FC Bayern by a further four years to 30 June 2029, with his original deal set to run until summer 2025. An agreement has also been reached with VfB Stuttgart that the 27-year-old will remain there on loan for another two seasons. Nübel moved to Munich in summer 2020 from Schalke and has spent this campaign on loan at the club currently third in the Bundesliga table.

Nübel thinks the arrangement is the best of both worlds.

“I’m very happy about this decision and the trust that FC Bayern has shown in me. At the same time, I feel very good in Stuttgart. I want to enjoy success with VfB and take my next steps personally,” Nübel noted.

Bayern Munich executive Max Eberl was thrilled to keep Nübel in the fold.

“We’re pleased we could agree to a long-term extension with Alexander Nübel. He’s made excellent progress in recent years and is among Germany’s best goalkeepers. He can continue to play at a high level at VfB Stuttgart. FC Bayern is superbly positioned now and for the future in the goalkeeper department with Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Daniel Peretz and Alexander Nübel,” Eberl said.

I think he didn't like the insults that apparently went on. Some people just can't take stuff like that. I've  personally only ever had one person who insulted me all the years since I joined this site. I think most people on here are reasonable, but maybe some got under his skin. Either way, if he didn't like the insults thrown about by whoever he is on about on this site, then maybe taking a break from coming on here might be the right thing for him to do.

Fair. Guess I missed the context on that one if something specifically went on. I mean in general if you use the internet you have to have thicker skin these days I figure especially with social media and how thats all gone.

Well that's up to you mate. But like I said I think this forum is toxic. Everyone thinks they're an expert. Then you have everyone thinking referees are against them. Everyone thinking they know how to run a football club. People insulting people with different opinions. I'm not saying I'll never come on again but I try to avoid it.

Yeah of course they are. But also you also need to realise your own lack of knowledge. That doesn't mean someone who knows less is always wrong. But the idea of a fan telling someone like klopp or pep what to do is pretty ridiculous when you think about it. And some things aren't opinions they are objective facts. Like I said that's why I avoid this site. I find it annoying so I try to avoid the site

Fair enough. I actually find this forum toxic to honest. Listening to a bunch of people who have never played football professionally, never managed a team certain they know better than people who have gets irritating after a while

You've been around for quite a few years, no?. Isnt the entire point of a forum and specifically a sports forum in general to come together and chat shit about your teams and matches and reffing and banter? I mean all opinions aren't equal and some people do know more then others. Allot of things are also very subjective. Experts and pundits aren't always right either. Guess what neither are some of the grestest managers in the sports history, such as Klopp or Guardiola as you mention. Idk man,you do you but coming on and complaining about everything that makes a forum is kinda weird.

  11. Had mine removed in my early 20's. Dont remember it being overly painful or any complications. Eating liquids for like 5 or 6 days definitely sucked though.

Thought in real time it didn't look intentional, but on the replay thought it looked very intentional. I've not seen him much in Germany, I've watched maybe 2 Bundesliga matches all season and they were both Fortuna Dusseldorf matches... so I don't think I've actually seen any of him in Germany... but I doubt he's changed his ways too much.

I cant say Ive noticed him do anything like that this season so idk.

You could do a coconut-based gravy for seafood too. That to me is almost peak cooking on our side of pond, the fish/seafood really just takes in all the flavors.

I dont do most of the cooking so I will pass on this idea... it sounds delicious. The extent of my curry cooking is using a paste xD

Kane should have been sent off for that elbow imo.

Thats funny. As I was watching the play my first thought was ahh unfortunate but clearly not intentional. Then you see on replay the look first... not great but ok still didnt look very intentional. Then I remembered you all these years ago talking about Kane being sneaky dirty and always doing things like this xD

  15. Not great news but hopefully a speedy recovery. Hes been a great since coming back into the lineup...

Also unrelated but theres talks of a 5 year extension coming for Alex Nübel with another loan for next season back to Stuttgart. The setup is in 2025 to come back and battle for a starting role then as likely we will need a successor for Neuer at that point.
