  1. Hoeneß does talk alot but idk man Barca's always been the worst imo.
  2. Bit of news over the weekend, few outlets where reporting Spurs owner Joe Lewis has told Levy he must sell Kane this summer if he wont sign an extension. Telegraph and a few others ran with that. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2023/07/23/daniel-levy-told-to-sell-harry-kane-this-summer/ https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-united-harry-kane-transfer-30533930 Coincides with us readying another bid, well see.
  3. Actually seemed like a half decent google translation. Seems like hes got a very decent head on his shoulders, very likeable guy. Cheers.
  4. New Sporting Director search is over apparently
  5. Uli opens his mouth way too much unfortunately. We'll see how it plays out but Ive got to think €100m gets it done more or less. This isnt a sum to scoff at imo, our record deal is still Lucas Hernandez at €80m. When we want a player we will spend but it has to make sense and cross all the t's and dot i's etc. Surely if we had state funding a deal would have been done by now though huh god I hate that sentence.
  6. I believe everything this man says. Butter me up and call me Sally lets go.
  7. Ah thats the problem, only have a little over three weeks and theres just so much more to see. Everything we seemingly look at looks amazing in its own right. We ended up condensing Sicily to just the Catania area as we only have 3 nights and thats the main area the better half wanted to go. Yeah good advice, on the weekend we plan to book the main stuff like the galleries and whatnot in Florence and Rome and Milan. Unfortunately we're going during high season but its the time we've got.
  8. Cheers, appreciate it. That all sounds great tbh. The Italians seem to have a fair amount of Gondala's/railcars and what have you and man I can see why, the views always seem worth it.
  9. One other one for you. We're looking at 4 nights in Florence, I know it's bloody massive but we figure one day venturing outside of the city in the countryside a bit leaves us with three days. Is Cinque Terre worth venturing for another day trip and at the same time again is two days for Florence enough would you figure? Also anything in Florence in general you would recommend!?
  10. Ok will look into it then, cheers
  11. Ok so we've finalized the itinerary as far as main places and dates. With 3 full days in Milan the only plans so far are to see a match in the San Siro and see the Duomo. We haven't really begun looking into what else to see and do in the city but would you say 2 days in enough and is it worth spending the 1 day going to Lake Como?
  12. Bild's reporting, seems like a good thing if this is to have any chance of happening but we shall see. Sounds like Romano's confirmed Bild's report as well now, that the meeting took place.
  13. Absolutely! fire away! Did you guys get to anywhere else as well or just a short Milan trip? Lake Como looked beautiful and I saw it highly recommended basically everywhere. We're sitting down this weekend to start booking things and will narrow down a few day trips. Florence and the Coast we have a few things in mind but like Rome or Milan we haven't looked into anything yet so its very possible maybe we take 1 of the 3 days in Milan and do that but we'll see. The one thing about Lake Como and up north in general is it reminded us of our scenary here. Not saying thats a bad thing but we figured if push comes to shove Sicily would be a little more unique. The better half was pretty set on going to Sicily if it was possible. She wanted to see Mount Etna and Catania and Taormina specifically, I tossed in Palermo for my 2 cents. So 1 day in Palermo, 1 in Catania and I figure we can do Taormina and Mount Etna in a day. Originally we were looking at taking a train from the north to the coast at some point but adding in Sicily will save us from taking one long train ride as well, basically its an hour flight to most of the airports from what I saw.
  14. Likewise! Germany, Croatia and Greece are tops of my list now. Italy's always been the top for me though
  15. Yeah fair, That was easily the most exciting finish I can remember in years
  16. Plane tickets are booked for Italy. We have a rough itinerary but still debating on a few things before starting to book, probably gonna book the train tickets and the Sicily flights after as well. The order is going to change as I saw Serie A starts on August 20th, going to try and work around to be in Milan on that date now. Basically the plan is 4 days on the Amalfi Coast, 1 in Pompei, 1 in Naples, 4 days Rome, 1 day Assisi, 3 days Milan, 1 day Venice, 3 days Sicily, 4 days Florence. The big debate was spend more time up North and or some time checking out Lake Como and some of the mountain area's or Sicily. Timewise we couldnt do both and we ended up settling on Sicily. The flights are super reasonable - basically can fly there and to whereever we need after for about 150$ cad.
  17. The talk im seeing now with that price tag being slapped on is moving to try and get him in January... seems even less likely imo. Or keep pushing with Kane's side of things for a free transfer.. I still dont see likely. As a sidebar, obviously Id love to get Kane to Bayern but at the same time I kind of hope he stays and plays out his career with you guys. The days are seemingly done of a one club star player home grown etc etc but it would be kinda cool to see still. Its how Ive always felt about Müller even as he winds his career down. It just beg's the question with our squad planning again though. We need a striker, full stop. Kane in a year from now doesnt solve our immediate issue even if that where a slam dunk, which it isnt. What are we doing? writing off another season essentially?
  18. Yeah the main thing is you dont want to sell. Theres no world where paying £100m + for him with 1 year left on his deal turning 30 is worth it which is why Levy is asking for that, I get it.
  19. I think we did our due diligence and yeah I think it would still be worth it if a deal could be done at €100m. Levy isnt reasonable though and theres no world in which we should go anywhere near his rumoured ask of £120m. Try and get him on the free but I have the feeling he wont move abroad at that point.Time to move on realistically.
  20. Ill be honest I have him blocked based on the previous shite he was posting. I read what spike had quoted so thats what i was talking about listening to Tucker etc. For my own sanity Ill carry on, but you keep fighting the good fight sir.
  21. Saw this the other day, describes things perfectly.
