Gravenberch is getting wrapped up, pending medical it sounds like.
-
@Cicero might enjoy this as well.. im not a huge Corden fan but this was great.
-
No real news yet on Gravenberch but it does seem to be nearly done. Also Mazraoui was official over the weekend. There where some rumours of interest in Mane a week or two back but this is interesting now with all the Lewy news coming to light. Talks of Mane + Kalajdzic to replace him. But apparently Dortmund might be in for Kalajdzic as well now and that would be his preferred destination. Also somewhat related an extension is apparently on the table for Gnabry as kind of a last ditch take it or leave it kind of thing in the neighbourhood of Comans wage. Personally you cannot pay him more then that, thats already alot if theres any truth to it.

Kristho's Schland! - Off Topic
Viva la FCB replied to Tommy's topic in German Football Forum - Bundesliga
You had me until the last part Honestly I think it would do alot of good if someone could take the title from us but If things dont change I just dont know if Its going to happen. This season was nearly as tumultuous as I can remember in recent times (mainly the rückrunde) and it still really wasnt close in the end. -
Yep posted a last week I think? pretty good so far, very much similar feel to The Wire.

Good news everyone, is official.

I've been playing overwatch again in preparation. My buddy got into ow2 beta but I didn't lol

And sure enough Khrus's next post is pure garbage and full of misinformation. I guess you have to give the retrumplicans credit for turning blatant lies into every day vocabulary that somehow people believe. Im going to go ahead and block him but I hope people here are smart enough not to believe it. Thats just it, it used to be a thing I dont know what happend. I guess when someone you deem as a leader of your country constantly lies and spreads bullshit and a partisan major networking cloaking itself as news people just believe what they spew. Humanity is doomed when it gets its information in the form of unregulated Twitter and TikTok.

Threw in a tenner.

Im with you man. Thats why im partly so invested in this because it is absolutely fascinating to see this all play out. I do also have the vested interest as naturally it has started seeping down here, at least to start out its a very very marginal fraction of people. Youre damn right though it is scary especially when its weaponized in the form of essentially manufacturing outrage.
-
You already upgraded your defence in a pretty big way, Im gonna miss the big lug a little bit.
-
Yeah hes the perfect complimentary player for your midfield....but also ours so I hope we get him

I applaud your optimism but people that spout the non stop easily disprovable garbage hes repeatedly spouted dont want facts, they dont care. CNN, ABC and even MSNBC do a pretty good job fighting back and fighting misinformation but the people that need to see that stuff simply dont, the other side is their simply dismissed by the coined term of the infant orange orangutan "Fake News" which essentially means any story they dont like or dont agree with and much like many of his idiotic buzz words his donkeys lap them up... replacement theory is just another one. But back on track these people are far too beyond help just read his response, theres no accountability theres no acceptance or even an attempt to learn its just double down. Sounds familiar yes? The Republican party almost in a nutshell these days. I wholeheartedly agree with you and I think it was Bill Maher that said the number one problem with disinformation is noone fact checks anymore - hes partially right in that far too many people see something on Fox News for example and just dont think for themselves and take it as truth. They dont do any research themselves or question anything that sounds outlandish because Fox doesnt give a flying fuck about news and most of their consumers arent even aware or understand they barely report any news. The other side of this is what you bring up, it was just like when the idea of Trump running was floated. Most people thought it was a joke and he'd never make it. He did far more then that and ended up being essentially a lightning rod for the nutjobs and bigots and racists. Its to the point where they cant be ignored anymore as they are too large of a movement and too many moving parts now. Tbh the Dems should have been able to crush them but their far too weak but thats another discussion im just ranting now.

Dont feed the troll, hes too far gone friend.

Top Gun - 8/10 In preperation for watching the new one coming up went and rewatched this classic. I still think it holds up pretty well, the action scenes in the plane are still pretty good. I do love the cheesieness of 80 action movies and specifically the soundtracks are kind of hilarious.

Been watching a mini series ' We Own This City' It stars Jon Bernthal as the lead specifically following the Gun Trace Task Force and all the corruption surrounding it, naturally in Baltimore. Based on a book by an investigative journalist Justin Fenton...the creator of The Wire David Simon and Writer/Producer George Pelecanos reuinte for this project. Its currently on going I think planned for 6 episodes, so far 4 are available to watch/stream. Im super intrigued so far, definitely has The Wire fingerprints all over it and I love that. Plan to rewatch that after as its got me in that mood again.

Apparently Gravenberch and Mazraoui will be announced soon. heard nothing new on Laimer but now theres this @nudge

Yeah that was game 6 I think? It was just a dumb penalty to take to put TB on basically a full 2 min 5 on 3 and sure enough they broke. They where in complete control of that third period too. Oh well I think they have a great core, theyve built a pretty good surrounding cast too I think their definitely unlucky to draw TB round 1 and they probably would have handled Boston if things went another way. At the end of the day IDGAF about any other Canadian team winning so I had no horse in the race but it was some great hackey.
-
I revel in it. Toronto always joked about as the center of the universe in Canada etc. I dont think they choked on this one though, TB is a really good team still. They took them within 1 goal in game 7 I think they can hang their hats on that one. Also largely outplayed TB at times early in the series especially so this one definitely felt different then their passed hilarious chokejobs. Been some excellent series so far overall though.

Right! He seems like such a genuine guy, needless to say hes also a fantastic actor. Him as the lead detective and Ansel as the journalist where both excellent.
-
Sounds as if we got our Rb. Theres also this report. Hau has been pretty reliable in the past but I still hope hes wrong. There has been alot of rumblings involving Barca in the background and given how this season went this honestly wouldnt surprise me that much.
-
Kind of fizzled out in the end but started quite strong for the first half of the season. Ultimately setting up for more seasons with the ending, interesting enough story Ill keep watching it when its back anyways.

Kingsley Coman given a 3 match ban after his red card against Stuttgart. Seems harsh - red was fair but more? meh, we'll see if they appeal. Some transfer updates: Sabitzers agent had a meeting at Säbner Straße and apparently concluded he will stay 1 more season to try and prove himself. Marc Roca has been told he can move on if he can find a club. Theres been no decision on Tolisso but by all accounts he will sign elsewhere. and finally:

This is fantastic
