This shitpile of a human being has made nonstop absolutely baseless and ridiculous claims before but this might actually take the cake of how delusional one man can get. About 30 seconds in....

Yeah If i ever dropped my phone in that....it gone. Basically like an outhouse type toilet.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore - 7/10Much better then the second, overall pretty fun again with a half decent plot at least. Still not nearly as good as the first but it did go more in that direction again which was great to see. Probably a tad long and dragged at times also would be my other complaint.

I just need to rant more or less. Our gas prices as an oil producing nation just hit a record high. 2.29$ per litre cad. I literally took a picture during the begging of the pandemic in the first March there two years ago (when we had first had a lockdown) because gas prices where .86c a litre. I figured I would never see that again in my lifetime but holy sweet baby jesus was I not ready for this.

If you hadnt heard Dave Chappelle got tackled on stage by someone from the crowd...hes ok but the attacker went to hospital as naturally he got beat up pretty bad. Anyways im not sure if Chris Rock was there watching in the back or what the deal was but he had this moment afterwards with the mic:

Some fucking guy in the very front row got kicked out for having his phone out, like how dumb can you be obviously hes going to see you in the very first row

Ah, yeah okay that does make sense then. I mean personally I have no problem with it outside of the time it takes to do all this but we kinda rushed out when they where done and got there early so only took us maybe 30 mins extra? Well thats why they setup the areas inside the concourse where they have someone at the entrance/exit of the fenced areas to unlock and relock the cases as you come and go. I suppose if you just put your phone on vibrate you can feel it in your pocket still and go check it. Somewhat less convenient but I didnt really mind tbh, not that Im really one to be glued to my phone at any type of event anyways. Im super stoked for Bill! I am also big fan but Id probably still choose Chappelle first

Reminded me a bit of the National Treasure movies in that regard... the first one was (little font) somewhat realistic but the second shot to the moon. Still fun movies where you can turn your brain off and just enjoy. Im a pretty big fan of the games so I had some idea of what to expect and actually Tom Holland did a fairly decent job...even though I think Nathan Fillion was born to play that role and even knocked it out with the little 10 min fan funded video they released years ago of Uncharted. Mark Wahlberg just played Mark Wahlberg... he wasnt a good choice for Sully on any level other then they clearly wanted "A" list actors to launch their big budget mega action franchise. I got what I wanted out of the movie more or less anyways I guess but fairly forgettable.

Went to see Dave Chappelle on the weekend, hes still the goat, man hes just so good. Jeff Ross opened up and he was absolutely savage, also did an audience volunteer roast on stage. Great night overall. One side bar but this is the first time Ive ever seen or heard of this. The venue was Rogers Arena (Canucks home rink) and as you where going in one by one they ushered everyone through a booth where they wrote down your seats, section number and info because they locked our phones into a soft pouch with those like department store security pins so you cant take it out until you leave and they unlock it or they had designated areas fenced off to let people use them in the concourse. I dont know if this is going to become the norm for concerts or if its just comedy shows. Were going to Bill Burr in June next so Ill see if they do it again. We were early enough it wasnt an issue but show was supposed to start at 8 I think Jeff Ross came out to open at nearly 8:45 and the arena was still maybe only half capacity.

I dont judge them on trophies at all that was your scale? I was just pointing out its non sense, absolute non sense. Pre and post Nagelsmann Rb has won 0 trophies to date, now sure that could change this year but is that the scale you now judge Nagelsmann on because they finally win their first inevitable trophy? yeah sure. You can critique many points of Nagelsmann's tactics, personal decisions etc and I do too, he made many mistakes but to compare him to Kovac? no not even in the same realm. Thats the entire crux of this discussion from my side is trophies arent how you judge success and it never has been, you disagree thats fine, youre wrong though. You made my point for me (I know i made this point in the past to you but you like to disappear) Kovac is case and point, guy won the double but was on thin ice his first season because he had no tactics. We won solely from individual talent and hence the slide in the beginning of the second season and hes gone. Trophies dont tell you how the team looks, plays or sets up. Our squad is good enough for talent to carry us fairly far but you cannot argue thats what happend this season. No I dont agree we've taken a step backwards at all but again I dont judge based on trophies because it is utter non sense. We were not good last year and maybe you dont remember that but we still have many of the same problems in defence. Nagelsmann isnt a short term plan, look at his age for one and his contract and the money laid out to get him. That doesnt mean its going to work and maybe he doesnt even make it through next season but for all those reasons you give him at least until the winter break unless things are a disaster. His tactics to start the season absolutely worked and thats why he has leeway. We absolutely dominated until the new year and everything was humming along in harmony. What happend? Covid and injuries took out key players and as Ive said before Davies was integral to his system as was Goretzka and it was very apparent we had no replacement for either player. Nagelsmann absolutely shares blame in this as he clearly didnt identify this and would not adapt his formation to suit the personnel that we did have healthy. Hes also not to blame for squad planing as he isnt responsible for that. Hes not to blame for Sabitzer not fitting in and clearly not looking comfortable in a bench role. Theres plenty of blame to go around for this season on the whole and he doesnt escape that but he also deserves more time based on what we did see. Low and behold a KHR quote on his opinion on state of things:

I watched this one last year I want to say? It was a surprisingly really well done story, I went in with less then 0 expectations. All I can say is I cannot wait to watch The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

So apparently Cage hasn't done a talk show interview in nearly 14 years. Needless to say this is fantastic.

Apparently the DFB has partnered with Amazon to release a docu type series like the Bayern one following the national team going into Qatar. Colour me intrigued, I know im Bias but I loved the Bayern doc. Apparently its the same camera crew that filmed the Bayern one as well. -

Well you ordered the second best option anyways -
5 Year Engagement - 6.5/10 - Much better then expected, over the top ridiculous at times but just a fun movie with a great cast. Jason Segel and Emily Blunt in the leads with Allison Brie and Christ Pratt and Rhys Ifans playing seconds and even Kevin Hart and Mindy Kaling with smaller roles. Light hearted overall and hilarious at times with a fun ending.

Watched the first episode of Tokyo Vice. Based on a true story about a foreign guy that becomes a reporter in Japan and eventually dives into reporting on the yakuza essentially. Pretty interesting knowing some of the background of the culture, it was a pretty spot on representation. The lead is the guy from Baby Driver (Ansel Elgort) he does a pretty good job so far. I will definitely keep up with it if I can find a version with some subtitles.

I absolutely adore this song, live is even better but also with a nice little tribute for Taylor Hawkins.

Not surprising news, welcome positive news if anything

Could be the case but Il give him more then 1 season to prove it one way or the other. The first half of the season we looked unstoppable. Injuries/covid and things never came back together. He was massively inflexable when things clearly werent working and we couldnt keep playing the same way and he never adjusted and thats absolutely on him but I wouldnt fire him in the first season over that. The rumoured players coming in are of the mold of what we need to play his system and that should cover the gaps if Goretzka and or Davies are out for extended periods next season. The grace period ends this season though he definitely still has plenty to prove. The other side of this is not letting the players off the hook too. Upamecano just isnt good enough to be anchoring our defence, Nianzou is too young and raw to even fill it games and then theres 0 cover at CB. The icing on the shitpile is our best cb this season (Id still argue was Hernandez maybe) or second best was easily Süle and hes walking away to Dortmund. Ill move to RB where Pavard not only doesnt want to play but is mediocre at best at and our only half decent cover is Stanisic who is far from proven. Sane decided to look beyond disinterested after the break for whatever the reason hes an enigma, Gnabry is a yoyo in form and has been for the last couple seasons leaving only Coman to try and create anything through the midfield outside of Kimmich really.

Youre judging his career to date on trophies? You're expecting Hoffenheim to win trophies? You're expecting Redbull to win trophies? Hes also still only 34 he can learn and grow hes far from finished and he will very likely win the Bundesliga so theres your first trophy to kickstar your measuring stick. He can have at least a year and some squad tinkering to get in the personnel to play the way he wants before I judge him too harshly but you do you bud. Hes not without criticism and theres been plenty but this is pretty premature... jesus. I know youve talked about not caring about the Bundesliga trophy before.. Ill move passed that for the sake of my sanity but how would you rate Pep's time with us then? He did the double twice and league title all 3 times but never made it passed the semi's in the CL. Is that a failure? Thats three seasons to evaulate? Pep came with massive pedigree and still in one of his seasons "only" managed to win the Bundesliga title.

I just saw this wtf on so many levels -
Im cautiously optimistic for next season. The rumoured recruitment is exciting and will fill in roster needs to play a back 3 which Nags for better or worse seems absolutely intent on employing. Speaking of for better or worse we arent going to kneejerk fire a manager, this seems to be the long haul and will at least give him a chance to prove his worth. Lastly we've tied down contractually all our core players through their prime, will be interesting to see how the Lewy, Müller and Neuer and too a lesser extent Gnabry extensions go.

This has been making the rounds all over the place in recent days, fascinating stuff but hardly surprising:
