Good news everyone. Davie's myocarditis sounds as if its improving every week and both him and Goretzka are expected to make their returns in April - likely in time for the Quarterfinals. Also sounds as if Tolissos hamstring tear wasnt that bad and he will be an option sometime this month.

Its been talked about for a few weeks and since then has been tried a little bit but this sheds some more light on the thought process of trying to morph Musiala into more of a 6 or even an 8 in the middle of the park to more of a Thiago type role. I dont hate it but from what we've seen of him so far it doesnt seem to be where his strengths lie. Bayern does have a long succesful track record of moving players around though so I will reserve judgement. Theres been some talk of doing the same with young Paul Wanner as well for what thats worth.

The funny thing for me is following this conversation through you quoting him. Hes literally the only person ive ever had to block on a forum, quality of life improvement etc. I quickly realized probably a year ago nothing he says is worth reading or responding too. Anyways sorry I just kind of enjoyed this read along

God I have all the time in the world to listen to Bernie speak. This clip is just so on the nose. If you get time listen to all 3 clips for the full interview.

I was just going to say this. Its really sad to see. I just watched a video of a captive Russian soldier looks like hes in his teens/early twenties getting tea and fed and crying on the phone he was given by the Ukranians to talk to his mom. I havent verified but the claim is none of the Russian soldiers have phones and I could totally see that.

Noones saying that other then Trump himself and his minions. The guy hasnt stopped suckling on Putins ballsack since 2015, I genuinely want to know what Putin has on him. The mere suggestion that Trump would have any positive influence on this while being in charge is so laughable I dont even know what to say. The cretin has publically praised Putin and waxed on about how smart and genius Putin is durring all this. I actually didnt think I could have more disdain for a human being but he keeps opening his mouth.

Yeah lots of times over the years. Ive been a fan of the nucks since probably the late 90's when I really started paying attention anyways. Tickets arent cheap but I still usually try to go to 1 or 2 games a year. Ive also watched some junior hockey here as we have lots of options for that kind of level too.

Agreed. Unfortunately hes seemingly always been made of glass, I dont remember him having an injury free season with us.

Yeah I dont know then man that doesnt make much sense. I try to avoid posting on reddit in general, just a good source for information for a variety of things I follow.

Im a little late to the party but I will say you covered it pretty well. Ill throw one important thing in here though. Bidens is very, very hard pressed to get any legislature passed for a couple important reasons. Mitch McConnell has publically stated the Republicans will vote down anything in the senate he tries to pass and theyve been doing as much. The Dem's have only a very slight majority and two on the bubble senators basically have roadblocked anything getting through (Manchin and Sinema) I wont get too much into details here but they benefit massively monetarily to be doing what their doing and they arent listening to or abiding by their constituents and their best interests. History wont be kind to Trump. Once this shitstorm passes through if and when democracy survives I have 0 doubt he will go down as the worst president in US history.

No. I read hockey reddit sometimes but I do listen to sports talk radio throughout the day at work. The insiders have been mentioning Hagel as trade bait as well for what its worth. I dont really know anything about your guy's situation but basically if hes young and good it can only be a couple things: contract status, is he going to demand a large raise that may or may not be worth it, cap situation: theres always cap causalities just the nature of it. And thirdly either management isnt that high on him or you have a younger cheaper replacement waiting in the wings for an opportunity.

Just had a shower thought the other day. The God of War series really evolved into something huh. Ive played all of them (i think?) starting out from the original as just a fun hack and slash 10 hours ish of gameplay.. kinda slightly improving but not changing too much with every iteration for quite a few. Kind of a cool story in the background and orgin story of how Kratos came to be but it didnt really matter too much. To where it is now? The last game was an absolute masterpiece of a game, arguably one of the best couple games for playstation ever. That is all.

I actually loved the score I thought it fit perfectly with the world building. The throat signing was awesome, to each their own anyways. As far as Chalamet honestly I had no idea who he was going in but he was fine.

Yeah I get it, its the case with alot of adaptations I find. I did start the book and maybe that would change my opinion of it too but until that point I loved the movie Idk im easily distracted though and I kinda want to read the Witcher books first so I might put Dune aside.

Havent heard that one myself. The Nübel situation was always a weird one though, like from our perspective makes perfect sense but from his? I dont know man, I guess he just really really believed in himself to be able displace Neuer at some point. It sounds like a Neuer extension is close and he shows no signs of slowing down, I figure hes got at least another 2-3 good years in him easy so where does this leave Nübel? probably the inevitable sale that was always going to happen.

I dont know what the show is or who these guys are but I came accross this, oh man, nsfw but so good.

That stuff just makes me sick but its par for the course.. the trucker "protest" is blockading cities, highways, border crossings etc better then hospitals I suppose but its just mental they just shut this shit down. I dont think the Proud boys are Canadian but it wouldnt surprise me if there was a chapter or contingent here as well. We saw Banon propaganda panflips in my brothers fucking apartment building in Richmond which is a large city with a primarily asian population. Banon has worked his magic with a prominent chinese billionare for a little while if you want more background ill post a link..this was a little while back but you might recall reading something about this about a year ago. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/20/business/media/steve-bannon-china.html

So the long and the short of it is the money and movement comes primarily from the states. Trump endorsed it publically but hes also backed it monetarily. It goes back to a protest we had here I forgot the name.. two former nurses where the leaders and they staged a protest outside VGH .. our major hospital in downtown vancouver. They blocked ambulances.. cars... patients.. yelled and berated doctors and nurses going in and nothing was really done to quell it. They achieved their goal of making the news everywhere in the country and that was sort of the beginning or trial run so to speak. Someone again back then traced the organization the two nutjob nurses represented and shockingly again it all traced back to the states. Granted there is a contingent of idiots and rednecks here that join in and go along with it but it doesnt really represent anything other then spreading garbage and hate up here as well.

How it works here is they have divisions for mens hockey... depending on the rink and the amount of interest theres some with 13 divisions for example and the bottom is more friendly to beginners.. teams move up and down throughout the years based on how they do. I would say its never too late if you do have interest, are you a half decent skater already? if not you can just practice that first even and not worry about a stick or pucks yet. Again I can only speak about here but they do have public skates (people just skate in a giant circle at the rink) they also offer what they call stick and puck which is just unorganized do your own thing skate around, shoot around if your with a friend pass and whatever you want... sometimes goalies show up. -

Undoubtedly Bettman has done an excellent job for the league. Hes not been perfect...being in command during what 3? lockouts....its 3 or 4 anyways certainly isnt a good look. The Arizona debacle... he will burn his family on that hill to die on it seems. But youre right overall hes done an excellent job in managing the growth of the game. The rule changes overall have been objectively great and the expansion has been a massive success. Look at what the penguins just sold for to FSG and thats even durring all this shit going on in the world. I do wish the barrier to entry was much lower. Im looking at having a kid or two in the next few years and Id love to be able to give them the opportunity to play hockey but I really dont know down the road if we can afford it. Id sacrifice my own playing for it but im not sure thats even enough. You compare the prices to basketball or soccer or nearly any other sport and its night and day. -

Thats awesome! I do know a decent amount of players do finish their careers in europe. Give them one last chance to try something new as they wind down to retirement.
