Fair. I would say Satire doesnt need to be outright funny but I would tend to agree they could have done alot more.. kind of the funniest moments where in the trailer.

Anyone pick up some stuffs on the steam sales etc for the season? I loaded up on steam: Untitlted Goose game (they broke me at 11$) AOE 2 remastered, Hollow Knight, Cyberpunk, Hades and also Diablo 2 remastered in the Blizzard client. Also if anyone doesnt know the Epic games client is giving away 1 free game a day again - I picked up Control for free the other day

My only gripe with it was it seemed unnecessarily long. Timothy Chalamets character could have probably not existed and saved 20 mins of my time. The rest of the movie is sadly very on the nose. Im glad it exists and hopefully puts some more eyes on the political landscape and whats actually going on.

I wanted to watch all 3 again as a refresher only made it to 2. I forgot how really mediocre and all over the place the second one was... I dont think i care to watch the third again tbh.

They had me at Guy Ritchie...then theres a car chase in a late 60's mustang...then theres the star studded cast....oh my yes.

Inglorious Basterds - 9/10 I havent seen it in quite some time so I figured it was due a rewatch. Just love it. I still think its one of Taratino's top couple films. I also forgot how good Brad Pitt is.

Thats just it, we're talking 50 year old league records. Ill get red in the face talking about the different ways he can score goals; volleys, backheels, anything inside the box, headers, outside the box, penalties, freekicks even he added it he last few years. His holdup play and passing is underrated as well. Hes just so well rounded on top of it all. Ive had the pleasure of watching nearly every Bayern match and see him develop into the player he is, its really been something special.

Id assume Cristiano won the Ballon'dor that year as well. Also Lewy was injured this year and missed some matches. Expected lineup for Wolfsburg before some much needed rest.

I think its a good movie but some of the problems and cracks are overshadowed with the legendary performance of Heath Ledger...you could argue he makes it a great movie maybe even. The whole rushed rise and fall of two face always rubbed me the wrong way. It would be good to go back and watch the triology again at some point.

That is the biggest issue with all of this. None of the people that need to see this will. Fox News didnt even cover the second Impeachment ffs. Jamie Raskin did a fantastic job laying everything out but again they didnt see it. This is exactly why the retrumplicans and Mccarthy slagged off the comittee and tried to sabotage it from the start and deny all credibility. These people arent stupid (with the exception of the loud minority of idiots Boebert, MTG etc) Mccarthy, Cruz, DeSantis etc they are all very, very well educated people. They just want one thing. Power. They are willing to sacrifice seemingly everything to keep and gain it apparently and half the country is completely oblivious.

Shits begining to hit the fan with the Jan 6th committee and documents being turned over. Mark Meadows (the former fascists leaders chief of staff) turned over a whole wack of documents and refused to show up in person (hes being subpoena'd sidebar) Stuff is trickling out about what he did turn in anyways and its staggering. Not surprising but its proving what we all knowl; on record by text run down the list of Fox News fuckheads that where messaging Meadows (as he has trumps ear and is around him... one of the most) pleading and begging for him to speak/stop the attack and asking for all kinds of things. Real shocking that they are all hippocrits I know, Ingraham and Hannity where two standouts. Maybe even more insane is they found a power point presentation of step by step instructions in detail of how they where going to steal the election. The word was they where spreading this to members of congress first as that was the first instruction. Anyways this is fascinating to follow and is only the tip of the iceberg.

I guess we will have no choice but to find out what we have in Marc Roca. Hopefully The Moose is good to go in the new year. Edit: hes playing against Stuttgart...and so is Roca still

Just picked up 'It Takes Two' on PS4. Playing through it with my Fiance who doesnt really play games. She likes Mario Kart and Party etc so I figured this would be up her Alley. Only played for about an hour so far but its alot of fun and totally adorable!

Dont Look Up - 7/10Im a bit torn on this one. Ron Pearlman's cameo might be one of the greats. Star studded cast, the leads are all pretty excellent but it studders and falters in the middle. You could probably cut 30 mins out of it fairly easily, it dragged pretty bad before wrapping up nicely. Its a great political satire and its great to see it get done and the messaging it does get accross on the one hand. I dont know, worth seeing if you've followed the US political landscape in the last few years but otherwise you could probably pass. Also this is fantastic, Ron Pearlman is a god damn gem. Side bar but at one of the Fan expo's we had here before the pandemic (basically comicon type event) Ron Pearlman did a Q&A panel for about 45 mins; hes a genuinely awesome, authentic and funny ass guy. Fuck you Matt Gaetz

They did a press conference I want to say it was the start of the year to introduce them into their roles (maybe It was last year idk time flies) and they didnt really say a whole lot of what their roles are. Kind of learning everything on the management side, Maybe president and gm eventually? dual gms? I dont know really. I know they where both involved in the dealing/talking to OEL before the big trade went through. They did talk about scouting with Abby alot as well (our farm team now is local) and apparently they've been spotted there a handful of times already this year.

Canucks blew it all up late last night.. press conference today. Green and assistant coach Baumgartner fired, Benning and assistant gm Weisbroad fired. Cleaning full house here. Budreau already announced as Green's successor.. 2 year deal for him. The interim Gm is officially Stan Smyl but it sounds like its a committee with our AHL Gm taking part, both Sedins and the one management guy to survive Benning and co. Exciting to see what happens here. This is basically what I was hoping for but I really didnt expect to happen.
