  1. Watched a couple over the last week: Free guy - 9/10 Absolute gem. Its a perfect Ryan Reynolds movie. I just love that its catered perfectly and subtley to gamers with all these little nods in the background but anyone that isnt doesnt miss out on anything important. 100% recommend! James Bond No Time to Die - 9/10Great send off for Daniel Craig first and foremost, the movie is alot about him and his bond. I think it makes a real strong finish in the series and the ending is a tear jerker. Would have loved Rami Malek's character to be a little more fleshed out and more important but at the same time I get it, he still did well with what he had. Red Notice - 7/10 Probably one of the better netflix movies ive seen to set the bar low. Overall enjoyable some good banter with Reynolds and The Rock and the ever gorgeous Gal. Some good twists and good action, fairly good film to turn off your brain and enjoy.
  2. Thats basically Travis Scotts 'brand' for lack of a better word, chaos, anti establishment and hooliganism. He knew people had died and carried on with the concert, hope he has repercussions.
  3. "For money we will (sports-) wash anything" rather effective message im thinking.

Guess well see, 5 months is closer to most of the season. If he isnt back its more interesting as they are going to have to make changes given their cap situation in the off season either way.

So the timeline im hearing is 3-4 months till hes back on the ice. Would give him a couple months of play to get up to speed before playoffs. This Vegas team is going to be scary.
  6. Just wrapped up season 2 of Mr Robot, 2 more seasons to go. I love it. Rami Malek is immense and carries alot of the show but I just love the unpredictability and how all over the place he is and we are as the viewer.

Eichels off to Vegas. Thats a massive get for them as the number 1 thing they needed was a legit #1 center when he gets healthy. They really didnt give up alot all things considered. Tuch, Krebbs, a 1st and 2nd round pick is whats been reported. Krebbs is a real nice looking prospect and I like Tuch but you have to like this trade for Vegas overall.
  8. Man thats so annoying. They've been actively advertising as Nov 2 like everywhere Ive seen it too.
  9. Posted this in the Lewy thread but its also about Müller.. these guys have aged like fine wine.
  10. Yep should be today. I watched the 6 min preview amazon released the other day Im stoked Would be a great time for him to start following BVB then!
  11. I thought I was the only one, I really didnt care for it either. Didnt find it tense really or scary. Kinda bored. I really wanted to like it to, I love Emily Blunt and John Kransinski.

Yeah that was one of the things to come out in his interview with Rick Westhead there on monday (i think it was monday) He said he talked to a PA rep on two occasions and they said they would or are reporting to Donald Fehr. Fehr did release a statement that didnt really say much but did apologize. Beach had a phone call interview with both the PA and Buttman over the weekend, I believe yesterday the players reps for all 32 teams had a phone call to discuss Fehr's future as well.

And for all we know that certainly could be the case but in 10 years when nothing happens, Beach is off playing in 3rd tier Germany...It would have taken the minimal effort required to find out if anything happend, he knows all the people that knew and "made" decisions and he could have reached out to Beach himself even. You're right though the easy decision would have been to cut bait with Chevy as well so there must be something there. Im more interested in these talks with the PA now and Donald Fehr. Theres more heads to role Im thinking.

Yeah we can only hope. As far as Canada goes Quebec would be the ideal choice imo. Theres been some talk Toronto could support a second team, Im sure it could but I want those Nordiques back first. I agree. Q was full of shit and definitely denied it and even doubled down on his denial in the press conference in Florida the other day. I think Chevy's statement was much more lawyeresque and didnt really say much if I remember but Id have to dig it up. I think the whole things a crock of shit. If he was at that meeting and it definitely sounds like he was you cannot absolve him. The statement from the NHL basically says he wasnt in a position of power and wasnt in a senior management position and wasnt in a decision making position. They said he thought it was going to be investigated. Bull fucking shit. The guy was there and even if that was the first time he found out about; he did nothing about it. He doesnt have to be in any god damn position to go to the police and report the incident or reach out to help Beach.

Chevy just got cleared. Heres the link to the statement:

Chevy's meeting was bumped up to today seems pretty straightforward he will be done as well. From what I've heard the arena location is the biggest problem.. Glendale is in suburb in the middle of nowhere. They tried to build up around the arena but its still a weird location. A much more central arena maybe helps but idk if thats enough alone. The franchise has also been run so poorly for so long they just havent been competitive in a long time and now their rebuilding the 8 year rebuild again once more all the while icing the worst roster Ive probably seen in years. They should move but Buttman has seemed super willing to die on that hill so Im not sure they ever will.

Kyle Beach came out as John Doe in the reports and did an interview with Rick Westhead. That is an absolutely tragic and heart wrenching read. I hope they take down everyone involved. Hes gone on to name Donald Fehr and the NHLPA even. https://www.tsn.ca/kyle-beach-john-doe-1.1712468
  18. Yeah thats the entirety of it more or less. Spanish law is strange; from what Ive read and there was no precedence in any case like this but from the outside it always kinda seemed likely they would get their money and move on. Supposedly there is no such thing as a restraining order but it was a court order stemming from a domestic incident and they werent to see each other for 6 months. He was arrested upon reentering the country after the honeymoon and subsequently charged. I had to know and of course they are not together anymore

Well yeah I dont mean this minute, that would some timing if he literally stepped down an hour or two ago and hes already replaced The interim wont be doing the firing thats for sure.

By all accounts ive heard and read the players like Colliton but at the end of the day its a results orientated business and it is fairly ruthless. With new management generally comes a new coach too but well see. It also sounds like there is 0 chance the players where unaware of what was going on god these stories are awful. To add the Toews and Kane you still have Keith around and even Ladd.

Yeah I had read some of the original report and some of the details that have trickled out since its disturbing and sick. Basically everyone had publically said nothing but this bombshell was always going to drop. Its unfortunately 10 years too late for those involved but better late then never. I think its only Chevy and Quenville as you mention that spills over for other orgs. Its a 107 page report so we'll see how this unfolds further. On a side note it sounded like Bowman was the biggest Colliton supporter so he might not be on stable ground anymore either.
