  1. God damnit I love Collateral.
  2. No but it doesnt matter because last year was such a runaway success imo, also thats what Flick will ultimately be remembered for.
  3. Absolutely. I think alot of people dont realize when he took over for Kovac just how bad things looked. Kovac had some hilarious quote when asked about immitating the playing style of Liverpool he replied with something along the lines of "no you need the right players for that, you cant drive a car 200km/hr on the autobahn that has a maximum speed of 100km/hr" Fucking guy gets fired after a demolishing by his former team Frankfurt like 5-0 and Flick instantly turns it around. We go on to win everything and lose like 2 matches the entire year in all competitions. Regardless Flick will be a legend here anyways.
  4. Was just gunna post this, it kinda seemed inevitable for him to take over the Germany post didn't it.
  5. Good for him, hes right and its fully deserved. Get it done gentleman.
  6. Its not as simple as a Flick vs Brazzo. Replace Brazzo with whoever you want its the structure that Flick is at odds with. I fully understand his thinking and even the much maligned Kovac had some comments about that, coaches want more say in squad planning. Thats just not how Bayerns run. The philosophy does make some sense; a player when recruited can be at the club 4-10+ years, coaches are typically what? 2-3 seasons on average at most? I doubt Flick wins this battle but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  7. So im somewhat of an expert on the topic just ask @nudge The first two games where fantastic. From what I understand this is a remastered kinda thing of just the first? like visual updates etc? if you enjoy it pick up the second installment as well. Dont bother with the 3rd though IT SUCKS.

Thats the thing that I didnt understand when I saw the deal, like youd have to think he could at least fetch you something like a 3rd or at the very least 4th round pick. Theres been about 3 insiders with some scuttle about covid though, possibly even going to whistler which has been fucked for awhile now and the varient was prevalent there that they did catch. Apparently unhappy teammates about that coupled with management and coaches not happy with his on ice stuff might have just amounted to moving him for the sake of moving him now. Some social media stuff apparently with a bunch of guys unfollowing his social medias right away and no comments being made publically about him leaving. Everything together id lean towards believing the truth is somewhere in the middle.

He can and does try on occasion but he gets bumped off and stripped to easily. Thats one of the areas I think that could be helped if he can put on some weight finally and get stronger. Definitely has some snipes though and the best part is you get his celly's. Top class celly's.

Not a great driver of play, not great at puck recovery or strong in the corners/walls or on the puck, not great defensively. Has a wicked shot though, and good scoring touch. He got his chance at center but hes not responsible enough and was even worse this season so we moved him to the wing. Ideally he should be a winger, hes not good at faceoffs either. Tough call overall, he was diagnosed earlier this year with a stomach issue (wheat/dairy sensitivity kinda thing if memory serves) hes always had trouble keeping down foods and feeling ill and finally trainers/doctors and him seemed to figure it out. So presumably he could put on some more weight now and come back stronger and improve upon some of his short comings and have a bounce back season next year. The defensive liability I think will always be there hence hes probably a pretty solid third line winger as a ceiling. Alot of rumours about behind the scenes things about him wanting a better opportunity or a move himself, coupled with management and coach not being happy with alot of his play and more rumours behind him being the patient 0 of our covid outbreak it seemed like we just watned/needed to move him on. I know nothing of Highmore but from what ive heard and read he sounds like your dime a dozen fringe 4th line grinder, lots of try, no offence. Correct me if im wrong? trade definitely seems like a win for you guys though If Guad can even get back to what he was he did have 33pts in 59 games last season and looked alot more promising.
  11. It still amazes me how many people cant parallel park to save their lives. That woman is a legend though.
  12. The whole begining scene is fantastic though. Right from the library book, through the knife store and stable the dog scenes with Halle Berry too. I agree with you about the first still being the best but the sequels havent missed which is what Ive loved.
  13. Welcome! We can definitely use your healthy dose of optimism right now
  14. Pretty nearly. We actually have like no healthy bodies to even rotate on the weekend this shit is dire. Roca, Martinez and Musiala can play and thats kind of it.
  15. I signed up for the beta weekend of Diablo 2 resurrected, theyre given out a certai amount of codes at random. anyone else into this at all? They basically built an entire new game from what Ive seen (its still diablo 2)but it looks amazing. Absolute nostalgia on this one for me, was one of the first online multiplayers I played the shit out of.
  16. So as expected: Süle has a torn thigh muscle expected 2-3 weeks, Goretzka has a thigh strain no timetable but both are expected to miss the return leg against Paris. Just not meant to be this time.
  17. So earlier Flick had mentioned Gnabry had a sore throat and would likely miss the first leg against PSG, well thats definitely the case now as hes tested positive for Covid19. Im not very confident for this one, almost time to clench. https://fcbayern.com/en/news/2021/04/gnabry-coronavirus#:~:text=Serge Gnabry%2C 25%2C has tested, and is isolating at home.

I do remember seeing a bunch of ads pushed with Brent Burns but maybe im thinking of other companies not the NHL and Karlsson is defintely just a missed opportunity. Sid's also gotten more comfortable and gives more thoughtful answers to interviews then he used to but your right hes fairly private. Marketing him and to more of an extent Mcjesus I think is just a must, regardless of Mcjesus having the personality of a soap dish hes the best player in the world his highlights grow your game regardless. If Ovie was Canadian or American it would be the easiest slam dunk ever. Just a shame there isnt more guys like that. By far our best personality on the nucks is Nate Schmidt, hes only joined this season and he needs to be the first one having a mic shoved in his face every time imo but there still rare birds.

Thats really sad to hear, you know something was out of the ordinary with how that came out of nowhere. Hopefully its not as bad as that.
