Looks like the drinks threads have been archived and locked from what I can see so, what are the best or worse of the latter you like or dislike? I know from my army days I liked Carlsburg and still do today or a Carling Black Label. The wife picked these up from Iceland for the new year as we both only like bottled beers or lagers and not cans, anybody tried these and what are they like?

Glad all is fine Stan, will be thinking about you and your family, just to say this happened when our Denise was born and the wife got worried for no reason whatsoever because Denise would not stop crying and we ended up back into hospital just in case. Everything was fine, though, and the midwife/nurse said we were just being over anxious as new parents, we stayed there for a wee while with the midwife, went through some procedures with her then headed home. You and your wife will look back on this in years to come and will more than likely talk about it with your OTHER kiddies by then I know when Darren was first born and was lying in his cot beside the wife and his uncle Vic bent down to have a good look at him and he peed right into his face, our son has talked about this many a time with his uncle Vic over e few beers in the pub.

Our son got me 4 books for Christmas, the latest Lee Child/Jack Reacher book and 3 Jack Higgins books with the character Sean Dillon written in them, I have read all of Jack Higgins/Sean Dillon books over the years but I am going to start reading them again from book 1

All this "Sack Moyes" sucks big time, I would not mind betting there are a few Everton supporters out there in Toffee Land who would love him back and be in the same situation as West Ham right now, 6th on the table and although some might call the Intertoto Cup a Micky Mouse Cup they still won it. The Hammers sack Moyes after he saved them from relegation and then hire Manuel Pellegrini who helped Man City win the Premier League and 2 League Cups on the trot and varies other trophies around Europe, then they sacked him.

Seeing it's Christmas coming up and my monthly donation goes out from my bank today later on I have just donated another £5, Merry Christmas to all who donate.

I had a 9 as my first mobile, I thought it was out of this world, I was sitting on a bus typing a message but then realised I had no names stored in it so I could not send it.

My phone I am using right now, quite happy with it and I can get an up-grade if I want but this will do me.

This is the wife's one atm, she has had this for years and swares by it, she wont get a new up-to-date one and this one fits into the palm of my hand, most of the numbers or letters on the buttons have worn away yet she can type away quite content with out any spelling mistakes, I wont touch it.
