Nah, it's great buddy, I don't know where you got all the blood & poop from? I never seen any of that at the births, being beside your wife gives her the confidence of knowing you are both together through anything. In fact, Liz giving birth to the first baby (Darren) she had to have a cesarean, when the birth was all over with the doctor stitching the wife up didn't know I was still there and asked me to leave, please, until he had finished, I rushed out then at 2 o'clock in the morning making phone calls and a very happy man.

Believe it or not, some don't, you still get quite a few guys who pass out watching a birth.

Are you going to be at the birth, @Stan? the best thing ever buddy especially when the midwife/nurse smacks the baby's bum and then hearing the first cry of life.

Brilliant, I had just got demobbed from the army and was staying at the wife's big sister's until we got our own home when we found out Liz was pregnant and we were over the moon, especially her big sis. I was in the hospital when Liz was giving birth and I was there beside her when our son was born and it was the most beautiful site I have ever seen, the same when Denise was born I was there beside Liz, moments like that we will never forget.

Just curious @Stan, when did you find out and what was your reaction, I know when the wife fell pregnant with Denise and told me that Friday night I went out for a pint to celebrate, got into a fight and ended up in nick for the night, but I don't think you would ever do anything like that.

A lot cooler the last 2 days and that has been heaven to me, this heat is affecting me badly with my asthma and COPD, and staying indoors with windows closed because of people mowing lawns, etc makes me sneeze, have headaches, and short of breath, the rain is creeping in for this afternoon and a will love that.

Don't really get into all this but my impression was he tried to be the leader of the pack and others would follow and he would replace Putin as the man in charge of Russia, but that went all ape shit and I bet you there are others in the Kremlin just waiting for the right time and then replace Putin as the leader of Russia, these are my thoughts only and others may differ.

Why do you have to turn any major news article into something political, or politics in general? this was a tragedy that had nothing to do with politics.

I feel so sad about this yet relieved that they died instantly instead of just lying at the bottom of the ocean and just suffocating in a confined space like that, it would have been horrific. My dad was in the Navy Subs during the war and I never wanted to follow in his footsteps and join the Navy and the Subs as the thought of going underwater in confined spaces would always send a dreaded thought to me, what if the Sub got stranded at the bottom of the ocean, thus I joined the Army instead.

Fucking hell man, if I meet you there for a pint I better have my false teeth in and not look like an old punk, some of them doormen there are built like brick shit houses with kilts on.
