  1. 9 times out of 10 he has a good game. Listening to the British media you'd think it was the opposite.
  2. He has at least another couple of seasons in him but I guess he doesn't want to spend the rest of his career on the bench or take a step down to a smaller club. Underrated defender, especially here in England. They don't know anything past pace and power, game intelligence doesn't mean anything when it comes to the British press or the pundits.
  3. Will be great to see a 42 year old dominate the midfield in the Premier League next season.
  4. Think the analogy you guys are using has gone far enough... Adams has a right to an opinion but when that opinion fails to stand up he can't complain if people bash him for it. Seems desperate to have a job here but I think he's proven that he isn't that good at coaching. Should just get a job as a pundit somewhere so he can get paid to pretend he knows more than actual managers.
  5. Body Of Lies - 6.5/10 Logan - 7/10 A Monster Calls - 6/10 The Autopsy Of Jane Doe - 7/10 XX - 5.5/10 The Neon Demon - 5.5/10 Bronson - 7/10 Get Out - 8/10

  7. The club's too much of a cash cow for Kroenke, he was never going to agree to a sale. The rest of the board members don't want Usmanov either, Kroenke lets them run the club the way they want whereas Usmanov would want a more hands on role which would threaten the amount of power they have.
  8. The game doesn't mean anything and he'd be resting players whether it was on Saturday or Sunday so I don't know what he's really complaining about. As for him crying about having to play youngsters, Man Utd have enough players to play two totally different starting lineups made up of first team players. He's just using the youth players here to make a point no one cares about and to play the victim for no fucking reason at all.
  9. I did do a comparison of 20 years with Wenger and 20 years before Wenger and posted it on TFF a few months ago. There's an obvious improvement in consistency and in my opinion people can still recognise that fact while still wanting to go up another level and thinking a different manager can deliver that. Unfortunately though, people want to go all in one way or another.
  10. Sounds like someone's bitter about not getting a job... With how Arsenal were doing before Wenger, Tony's words really have no validity. He's said nothing but positive things about Wenger in the past as well, even responded to the idiotic "we want our Arsenal back" chants by saying "You mean the Arsenal that Wenger gave you?" This is poor from Tony, doubt he even buys into what he said. Don't know what he was expecting, his experiences with football coaching have all been quite shit. Seems to have taken it badly. As for the "can't coach his way out of a paper bag" comment, classic twisting by the low end press. He mentioned how he was going to originally say that but then didn't and The Sun made it their headline. Everyone knows The Sun are scum but these idiots keep going to them.

Rid Flair's chops do some real damage.
  12. Mourinho's comments about Shaw, Smalling and Phil Jones were pretty petulant to be honest. Basically insinuating they don't want to play.
  13. Just finished season 4 of Mad Men. Don Draper cheating on every women he gets into a relationship with...

    That uppercut was fucking beautiful.
  15. It's of course a good thing that they caught this psycho. Can't get my head round how this idiot thought "refugees are bad and will ruin the country so I should kill innocent people" made sense but then again the extreme right aren't known for making sense. Didn't know a police officer was killed, obviously the killer wasn't the right type of killer to make international news...
  16. To be fair to him, a lot of managers would say the same thing. I don't think they actually buy into what they're saying but it sounds better than "I'd rather have him not play because he's mine".
  17. La La Land - If it wasn't for the whole musical aspect of it, I might've bumped this up higher but as it was it was a good film but not worth all the hype. 7.5/10 Sully - 7.5/10 The Great Wall - 5.5/10
  18. Don't know anything about the plot of this film but it seems weird as fuck and I want to see it.

They want a cuople of biggish names on NXT so they can sell tickets for house shows. They brought in Bobby Roode so Samoa Joe could go up and now they've brought in Drew McIntyre so Nakamura could go up. Wonder if anyone will bring up 3MB...

Happy Styles is staying on SmackDown. Give the people Styles/Nakamura in a few months time, let the people have what they want with that. Ambrose going over makes sense as he was getting stale, The Shield won't be starting up anytime soon though especially when they're not all heels (in Reigns' case he's not a tradtional heel). Kalisto needs to be in the cruiserweight division, Apollo Crews was doing nothing as well. Miz will be lost on Raw, bad move to move him there. Not happy about Alexa Bliss going over, she'll do well but it looks wrong to have her on Raw. The Bray Wyatt trade makes no sense, why would Daniel Bryan trade a guy who has a WWE Title rematch knowing there's a possibility of the title no longer being on SmackDown? Why would he also let that match happen at a Raw PPV. I just wish WWE would think for a second if things add up. Expecting Kevin Owens, Charlotte, Enzo & Cass to definitely come over. There might be someone big as well a long with some jobbers.
  21. Someone needs to tell them that it's not that important to own dabbing.

As long as they boo him rather than not care in any way, he's good and has his position as one of the top guys. With the amount of attention the crowd put on him, WWE know they'd be stupid to slow down on him.

Thought the opening segment of Raw was quality to be honest. He just said one line and he was out. Whether the crowd like him or not, they've made him into a big deal and I like that he's not sucking up to them trying to make them cheer for him. That was my main problem with Cena. Instead they're pretty much embracing the boos rather than fighting it. He's basically the biggest heel the company have had in a long time without actually doing anything heelish. Funny thing is if he started acting like a traditional heel, people would probably cheer him as that's how the crowd works now.
