If you can get Timothee Chalamet in a film, you put Timothee Chalamet in a film.

If we actually won more then this guy would be known as one of the most talented midfielders of his generation.

Issue is his injury record. And he doesn't really give a whole lot of direction to other players and isn't really in a position to affect general play. Hard worker but I wouldn't see him as being one of the top choices. I think it's between Xhaka getting it back (especially as he shouldn't have lost it), Lacazette getting it (although his contract is coming to an end), or Ramsdale (who has just arrived but already does a lot of shouting and gives direction at the back).

Covid passes to be a thing now at large events in England. Don't actually know how to feel about this. If they extend this to public transport then that will be one massive headache.

Jungle Boy's main issue is that without the gimmick, he doesn't have much because he's a quiet guy who's scared of talking. I think he said he tries to hide when they want him to speak. It's not a quiet but confident and charismatic thing either that Darby has. He'd be a bit lost without the gimmick in my opinion.

WWE do plenty of dumb stuff as well. Big E being the WWE champion isn't something that should've happened for example. They've toned down his goofyness but they should've done that before making him champion and they also should've built him up before they made him champion. There's the golden egg stuff as well and Finn Balor being an actual demon with special powers... none of this is down my alley.

It was stupid and one of the main reasons I can't take the wrestlers in The Elite seriously. Weren't they dressed up for the release of Space Jam as well? It's normal for them to act clownish.

Those rumours aren't true. That was in London. According to The Athletic, the club allowed him to go to France on Wednesday to pick up his mother and come back on the same day. He came back on the next day. From what I understand, he didn't miss any training etc. There was other stuff about PCR tests as well. The reaction from the club is harsh in my opinion and unnecessarily creates drama. Most clubs underplay things to make sure it doesn't create much damage, ours does the opposite... Looking at how the club treated players that they wanted out in the past under this new management structure, I do think the fact he's on big wages and the fact they want to stop that being the case is a driving factor in this situation. Arteta also is a bit of a military minded manager when it comes to how he treats the players. Falls out with players regularly.

So a new bill has passed that the government can strip people of citizenship without any notice... it was already ridiculous that a government can strip someone of their citizenship but this is an extra level of fucked up. Obvious targeting of people that aren't "British, British".

I don't understand why people are still so against the vaccinations. At first you could rationalise it with people just being unsure over a new vaccine and its side effects but we're past that point now aren't we? Even if you don't think it'll make a difference, it's far more convenient to just get it done and out of the way. Maybe there's someone that could explain the rationality behind being against the vaccine...

School shooting in America. Apparently a 15 year old. Going to be tried as an adult (which I don't think should be the case).

Being big in New Japan doesn't really mean much to most wrestling fans. Should just sign a short contract with WWE to raise his profile (even if it's as "Big Spoon" Kay Black) and then go back out there.

Movie tie-in with The Rock's new movie and it went as well as all movie tie-ins in wrestling. That along with the fact they dedicated the whole show to The Rock, it shows how much WWE value their current wrestling scene.

They might not be able to use the name "Undisputed Era" but if you put the wrestlers together, people will know. Cole & Fish are already in AEW and O'reilley could be going there soon. Roderick Strong might not leave as he might be committed to a new faction but the original three against Omega & The Bucks would be good enough.

To be honest, I'm not gonna miss any of those released. They could've done more with Tegan Nox though. On the other hand... I'm not watching anything anyway. Nothing interesting is happening. Just waiting on Undisputed Era v. The Elite to hopefully happen in the future.

Anyone paid attention to the Travis Scott concert deaths? Organisers should've been better prepared but ultimately, people are just dumb.
