So other than a couple of good speeches during the war, did Churchill do any good? I genuinely don't know as all I hear, apart from him giving good speeches during the war, was that he was either coked up or drunk and a racist imbecile that loved killing people. For a more balanced view, let's hear what the defence has to say.

I for one don't like the amount of hocus, pocus shit in wrestling right now. The Wyatt/Cena "match" was entertaining in its own bubble but in context it just makes everything look dumb. The "sports based"... promotion, AEW bringing in Matt Hardy and actually carrying out his insane ideas is a backwards step.

Watching old PPVs in a short amount of time really does bring home how boring Triple H matches are. Not all wrestlers are great in the ring, most of the biggest names in wrestling history have a limited move set but they find a way to be entertaining and charismatic during matches. Triple H doesn't. And he has to get his 20mins+ everytime.

Watched WrestleMania 25 last night and still can't get over how WWE were claiming it was the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania.

I never liked Braun to be honest. He was like a bad comic book villain at first which unfortunately got over, then Vince got bored and did what he does with every monster, comedy. He's not as smart or entertaining as Kane or Big Show to make that work either. Reckless in the ring as well, was hilarious when Lesnar rocked him and told him to calm down.

Dark Side Of The Ring returned for a second season. Difficult watch especially if you were a fan of either Benoit or Eddie Guerrero.

Biggest event of the year in the WWE Performance Center. No special entrances, no pyro, no theatrics, no crazy audience, no one reacting to anything. A shame. Feel especially sorry for Drew McIntyre, was finally going to get crowned. That happening in front of no audience is unfortunate. Edge back at WrestleMania as well. No one to shit on Reigns vs. Goldberg. What's the point? Just delay it.

All the foreign press are liars except ones that say fascism makes sense... A lot of people find it easy to call out other governments and other fascism driven movements but seem to be under a spell of intellectually lazy tribalism when it comes to their own government.

Thankfully it's not that much of an emergency in the UK and it's really only getting me in the mood to watch post apocalyptic movies. Will you join one of the mad gangs of men that drive around doing crazy shit because they can or will you still try to live in a civilised manner with other people?

Was going to say it could just be a case of making sure we got him on the cheap in January rather than him having more options in the summer with the ability to demand higher wages but he actually took part in training this week so the story of him being out for the season aren't true.

From what I read, he was 17 and downloaded some terrorist type documents but didn't get any further. I don't think it'd be that difficult to talk plans of killing innocent people out of him at that stage and at that age once you have him in custody especially with the involvement of people close to him, non-psycho religious leaders, psychiatrists, etc. That should be enough to undo being radicalised online. Don't know what the current protocol is though and maybe it works in most cases with others that are similar to him. There is a discussion to be had though and how prison works should be reviewed but as you said, most people don't work like that so most politicians won't bring it up. Even though it actually means a safer country in the long term.

People are calling for tougher sentencing but in reality the issue is how they're being rehabilitated. Sticking someone in for longer than their crime warrants in fear of them committing that crime again (or in this case, a worse crime) only builds up resentment making it more likely that they'll reoffend. Also there are criminals who do their time and do then change their ways, that becomes less likely with unjustly long sentencing. Rehabilitation while in prison is a lot more important than increasing the length of the sentence. An unpopular view I know.
