They can take up to 6 weeks to recover from. I think you need to find out if it's torn or even ruptured. Look for a gap in the muscles as this is suppose be s sign of muscle tear. You're best getting it checked as you don't really know how severe it is. As Ciero said use some ice for now, remember the rule of an ice pack. Between 20-25 minutes per hour, not recommended any longer then this per hour. Also don't directly put the ice pack onto your quad. PS - Any pics of your quads?
  2. Just watched the 4 part series called Escobar on Escobar. Is on Sky documentaries. All the information is from his wife, son and his sons ex wife. I really recommend this as there is video footage of so unseen stuff. From his funeral and his autopsy. 10/10.

It depends on how severe your quad injury is. Do you have mildish or a high level of discomfort? Do you think the muscle is torn? Are you able to walk or run?
  4. A Taliban spokesman contacted The BBC today to confirm they are now in control of Bradford, Oldham, Luton and Rochdale and expect to be running London by the weekend.

  9. Been wondering, how would Ricciardo be getting on if he was in this years RB?
  10. Cali cartel were the opposite of the Medellin Cartel in the way they operated. They tended to be more low key and tried avoiding high levels of violence. The 2 brothers were eventually joined by another 2 making them a 4 man board. Londono and that Pacho guy. You're are right about them bringing cocaine into Europe. They started doing this after Pablo was killed, they really did notch things up to new levels. All the cartels have thrown money back into their communities. Sinaola is suppose to be thriving right now. If you haven't already. There's a series on Kiki Kamera on Amazon PRime. The DEa agent who was tortured in Mexico. I think it's only 4-6 episodes from what I remember. Is worth a watch, is really good.

    Work/Jobs Thread

My people skills in person are second to none. But I feel that being polite in nature can also work against you. I always used to get to work 45 minutes prior to when my shift started. I could do a few of the tedious jobs I hated prior to starting. However, this became difficult as the twats of managers would ask me to do other things even so my shift hadn't yet started. The club mentality. That's how I felt it was with many of the female managers and many of the women over 50. They'd grown up working together, some from as young as 16. Left school and went straight to the bank. They could get away with doing fuck-all, it was like an over 50's dumb Maggie Smith club.

    Work/Jobs Thread

This is a good point, a case of who you know? But being honest I'd rather get a job for having the ability opposed to who I know. In the office there were 10 of us who were a tight knit bunch. But saying that, there were times when some of the 10 would bitch about another. Correct about senior managers. It makes you think how did they get so high up?
  15. If this is the one I'm thinking about I think I've seen it. Is it around 70 odd episodes? In El Patron Del Mar, he seems way more softly spoken and doesn't lose his temper as much. I found it to be more in depth with much more character development. According to the people of Medellin, El Patron is much more like Escobar was in real life. I'll be honest, because I watched Narco first. It took me around 7/8 episodes to get into El Patron as I had to adjust my mind to how the character behaved. Also, ask your mate if they've seen the series on Popeye who was one of Pablos hitmen. He died last year from cancer, but again it's 60+ episodes. It's about his time in jail, post-Escobar.

    Work/Jobs Thread

Can use this thread for a topic I wanted to start. We've all been working for a various number of years in life. List upto 3 good and 3 bad things which you've learnt from your your life of employment. Good. 1.Meet good new people. Some end up being life long friends. 2.Under good management, within a good team of people. It can be a good laugh while getting paid. Working under good management and a good team can have an positive impact on your life. 3.You may learn new skills which can be essential when applying for new jobs or seeking promotion. Bad. 1.Majority of an office, consist of snitches and people who arse lick managers. 2.Majority of promoted people people who don't have the required skills. They're generally thick as pig shit but mates with managers or are recommended by other managers who they're mates with. In my previous job, the main manager. He is in his early 50's and gave important promotions to 4 females in their 20's, he was shagging all of them for years prior to promoting them. 3.The last one is odd. There are a number people who are dumb twats. Never hit targets and always require help. Yet they never get pulled up on it or anything else. Because of their dumbness which goes unpunished. They always cause shit and get away with it. Yet you get people who work hard and always get pulled into the office for nothing offences. The people who are dumb and cause shit, in my experience they are usually in their late 40's but majority are over 50. No offence meant by the way. They tend to be mates with many of the older managers and worked in the office and known each other since World War fucking 2. Rant over.
  17. Just started playing the Order 1806, I like the way you kill and move around. Has a Last Of Us feel to it.
  18. Blood Diamond - 9/10.
  19. Yours are injuries yaarr. You know what I mean about our people. Diabetis, high blood pressure etc.
  20. I've been lucky in a way. Only had keyhole surgery one my ankle which isn't anything major. 50 minute procedure and you leave after recovery. Am now 42 but have stepped up my training hardcore over the last 5 years. Eat healthy for 90& of the years and eat more plant based food now and try limiting meat to twice per week. I don't want to be a typical Asian who usually has every illness in the book.
