Tony Adams is a bit of a wally though isn't he? Did he and Wenger have a fall-out when Adams was at Arsenal or has this just happened quite recently?

Could go either way. I personally think it's the correct decision and his work since Ranieri left warrants him getting a chance, even if you tailed off a bit towards the end of the season.

Not saying they'll win the title but I think they'll have as good a chance as anyone. They need to add a couple of squad players though, for example Janssen is nowhere near good enough.

They'll be better and I can't see any of their big guns going. Important to keep the current squad and manager together and they could be challenging for a few years if they do.

Not sure about that, he's looked quite dodgy in English football though I imagine he will be a vast improvement on our current Championship central defenders.

I actually read it was £45 million on Sky Sports, which is even worse. It's nothing to the top clubs I suppose, but I wouldn't dream of Newcastle even being able to spend that amount on a goalkeeper.

£35 MILLION for a goalkeeper. Insane. Obviously Pep has seen enough from Bravo to suggest that he isn't going to be good enough which heaps the pressure on Ederson to be a success after Caballero was released and Hart will surely leave.

Coleman isn't the right man and I don't even think he's that good of a manager. He's done well with Wales but there was no doubt an element of luck about their Euro run and now they are struggling to qualify for the World Cup.

He didn't want to play for us in the Championship, went to Palace and now he's out of favour we are going to take him back? Not for me.

I reckon Townsend will end up back up here, Rafa seems to like him. I don't want that, he wasn't willing to do the dirty work in the Championship when we wanted him so I don't see why we should pander back to him now we've been promoted again.

I thought Caballero might have stayed, he's been play a bit recently and is a better goalkeeper than Bravo. I can't see Hart coming back into the fold either so he's obviously going to be after a new keeper. I can see a few more departing City too, Delph, Kolarov etc. They'll spend big.

Thought the same, slightly bizarre. No complaints from me at the squad, he keeps including a couple of no-hopers that should be nowhere near the squad but in reality we haven't got 25 good players so that's always going to come about.

But HOPEFULLY he's eventually got it right now. It's taken 10 year, but better late than never.

The worst thing about the whole 26 minute thing was that it was his idea, fair enough if someone else had suggested it but for him to admit it was his idea is rather egotistical to say the least. That being said, he's obviously a legend and one of the best defenders to grace the Premier League.

Fair play mate, good on ya. Some of my family are very into running and go out every night with the intention of running full marathons in the future, but for me I just can't be bothered. It must be a good feeling when you complete one though, very good indeed.

I don't know what his problem is but he's yet again coming across as an absolute tool. Surely the ideal situation is to stay in every Cup for the duration giving you the maximum games possible? And Man United of all clubs should be prepared and happy to play them. The man is something else.

Agreed, I'd like to see them both go. They've done a job for us over a couple of years but like you say it's time to upgrade.

Agreed - he's had some poor reviews from Everton fans that I know too. Like I say, I don't imagine him to be a regular by any stretch and I think we should be targeting another winger too.

Atsu looks to have signed on a permanent deal. Not sure what to make of that one, he blows hot and cold. Not convinced he can make it as a premier league regular but probably not a bad player to have in the squad.
