  1. Newcastle United are interested in bringing Arsenal centre-back Rob Holding, 24, in on loan and the Gunners are open to offers for the Englishman. (Mail)
  2. on Rob Holding and Aaron Ramsey... The worst for us today was the news with Rob Holding. We are going to wait for what the doctor tells us but it is maybe a big injury. We are going to wait, it is his knee. The other is Aaron Ramsey, but it is a small injury with him. After the two injuries, every player played with good commitment and mentality to keep the performance [going] in a difficult moment and we could not control the game like we want for the 90 minutes, but the second half gives us confidence for this draw.
  3. I can imagine Pini Zahavi trying to convince Wilfried Zaha this would be the best move for him. To be a part of a growing project that has ambitions to be a force in world football. Kevah Solhekol will force this down our throats for the remainder of the year too. What I will say is I think there are a ton of players out there who will represent better value for money and a better age than Wilfried Zaha for Newcastle United. Players at clubs in Ligue One like Lille, Nice and Lyon are a start. You also have Dwight McNeil in this country, who may not be at Zaha level yet but could go on to achieve more, has more years in him and could command a higher fee in the future.
  4. Those who follow the Brazilian Football thread are aware I´m a huge Bruno Guimarães fan. I think he´s the next great midfielder to come from Brazil. Complete midfielder, can press, has vision and also appears to finish and score some goals. Yesterday, in the first leg of Copa do Brasil final he scored the winning goal for Athletico Paranaense. According to a very reliable journalist, there were Chelsea scouts in the match to follow Bruno yesterday. But during the Renan Lodi deal, Atlético de Madrid assured the possibility of matching any offer above 30 million euros for him. It´s just a matter of time before he leaves brazilian football. Found a scouting report from a Chelsea fan on Twitter and i t describes his style well.
  5. As part of my dissertation at University, I need participants to fill out a very short questionnaire form. The questionnaire is based on The English Premier League with some questions about European Football. I would be highly grateful if I could have some people fill out the questionnaire; it won't take longer than 5 minutes off your time. All information will be used just for the purpose of my research and will not be shown or publicised anywhere. Thank you.
  6. I hope this is just a rumor and nothing else, the guy is bloody 32 years old, the rumor is from the Daily Star so I can breathe easy ... I hope Manchester United have emerged as favorites with the bookies to sign Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, the Daily Star reports. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11440378/manchester-united-transfer-rumours-gary-cahill-paul-pogba-and-marko-arnautovic
  7. In light of both @LFCMadLad and @Cannabis shivering away from their usual fishing selves and pretending they're not bothered about this weekend's fixture due to the fear of defeat, I thought I'd start this poll. What do you think is the most fierce modern day rivalry in the Premier League?
  8. Arsenal are unbeaten in 10 Premier League games but their slow starts are a growing concern. Arsenal are one of only two Premier League sides yet to lead a game at half-time this season. They did not have single shot on target in the first against Wolves and their first-half goal difference under is minus three. Scoring twice in the opening 45 minutes of their last eight games. Why do you think Arsenal start games in such a poor way? @SirBalon @Panna King @Gunnersauraus @6666 @Chaaay AFC @...Dan @shut up @Asura
  9. With 12 games of the Premier League season gone, the league is beginning to take shape and players are making their mark. But who has impressed you most?
  10. He's unlikely to play again and his contract expires at the end of this season. What should Arsenal do? @SirBalon @Panna King @Gunnersauraus @6666 @Chaaay AFC @...Dan @shut up @Asura
  11. Reported by a few sources today, but this has come from Ornstein so I think it's definitely true. Apparently he is as good as gone, just depends whether we try and recoup something in January or just let him go on a free in the summer. I can see Juventus snapping him up, I think he'd be a good fit for them and they love a free. Massively disappointing for me, I adore Ramsey as a player but I wish him nothing but the best if he does go. Arsenal have been disastrous with transfers for the last 2 seasons, I'd say our business has been far and away the worst of any big team.
  12. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-arsene-wenger-transfer-lemar-11103984 Wants it scrapped so Arsenal can fall further behind Man City and Chelsea under his tenure
  13. Arsenal Football Club return to Adidas 24 years later after accepting a £300m deal that makes it the third largest kit contract in history. I personally welcome back those Adidas days full of nostalgia. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/7115048/arsenal-300m-deal-adidas-kit/
  14. Surely the logical thing to do would have been to give him the same time?
  15. The Palace Fan

    Granit Xhaka

Very few players seem to divide opinion like Xhaka at the moment. Should he keep his place in Unai Emery's starting line-up? Or do his weaknesses outweigh his strengths? @SirBalon @Panna King @Gunnersauraus @Chaaay AFC @...Dan @shut up @Asura
  16. After his best attempts to kill Arsenal's momentum against Chelsea by taking a year to walk off the pitch when he wasn't happy about being substituted. There's been reports this week that Mesut Ozil has feigned injury because he didn't like the role in the team Unai Emery wanted to play him in. Do you think there's any truth on the rumours of a rift between the two, and if so, is It best for Arsenal to get rid? My two cents are it will be difficult to prove the latter, but as for his character, it's very telling that no German players were defending, supporting or thanking him in their droves when he announced his retirement on social media.
