Nevermind this, as I was thinking it was a gang related type shooting originally. It does raise a point though;- why do all the shootings and stabbings happening almost daily never make the main news? It's as if they try and hide the many social problems we have in this country. They are more arsed about irrelevant and pointless shite like Brexit. But who cares about kids killing each other? If there is money to be made someone will make it or in time spot the gap in the market. Murders have always been the lead front page local news and not national. That's where the main market for it is. There's a lower degree of interest in a murder when it happens outside of the readers community unless it is particularly unusual. Brexit sells well because so many readers fall about themselves and are emotionally reactant. When it comes to gang shootings they comparatively aren't. He did his time and now did something good as opposed to the attacker in this situation but it does open up the discussion on how to view people's past.
