Big test for the new owners is what to do next. Steve Bruce is doing such a poor job with 7 wins in 38 and a shocking defensive record that looks very worrying. Risk it with him and his toxic brand, or do they find a steady the ship appointment to see them to summer in the hope they can then get the right man, or do they gamble on someone up and coming with no experience in this situation.

Who do you think you think could do a job for you and get you out of this mess at this moment in time???

It needs to be someone who can organise a team and defence. Even then it might not be enough for us to stay up. A lot of damage has been done, we are an unfit and uneducated side regards to roles. It could easily be a slog under anyone.

If Dubravka was fit maybe even Bruce could somehow get his way out of this. At this moment in time we just have to gamble on new ideas and new manager bounce to get us to mid January.

Bruce is toxic and doing an awful job at this moment in time.

Woy Hodgson.

Actually wouldn't be surprised at all. Experienced, done it at West Brom, Fulham and Palace, players seem to like him and tactically would probably have you more organised.

Infact, as a short term option to just get through to next summer and keep you up, it's not a bad idea.

Heard some support that.

Personally I'd sack Bruce now. Let Jones have Palace game. If we don't beat Palace then go down the save me route. If we can beat Palace we should still consider a long term option.

It's real touch and go right now.

She used to look alright, turned into an absolute nightmare creature now.

That's how they all start in the beginning you know that...

Any alien invasion starts with "We Come In Peace, we offer Prosperity and Enrichment" etc.etc.. Then late one night while doing his rounds the Newcastle cleaner stumbles across the new owners sucking all the poison blood out of an unconscious Steve Bruce through straws.. he moves in to take a closer look but knocks something over and gets spotted. They descend upon him hissing and spitting with their gecko like eyes scanning him ripe for suction but luckily being an ex marine/martial arts expert he is able to fight them off with his mop and a bottle of domestos... He legs it determined to tell the world what he has learned but everyone laughs when he tells his tale and think him just a daft wazzock and so he has to continue the fight alone.. By the time they find out the truth it will be far too late....

Pretty poor of the new owners to send Lee Charnley to threaten the other clubs with the threat of a  lawsuit. That must have been awkward to watch given he's from the previous regime, he's liked by the other board members present and he's delivering a message directly from the new regime that doesn't appear interested on first impression in integrating themselves.

Quite telling the voting went 18-2 and the other club that voted with Newcastle was Man City.
