There's no better forward than Haaland in the world right now. This kid is lethal in front of goal. You literally just need to feed this beast and he will score!xD

So he's moving to a bigger club during the summer?

Looking forward to see him at the Euros

That's presuming Norway even qualify for the Euros, lol. Which I am sure they will with Haaland up front.

Norway also have other class acts like Odegaard and Sander Berge. I am also a big fan of Jarstein, I think that he is a quality goalie.

If Norway can get past Serbia(which won't be easy at all), then I think they shouldn't have too much difficulty getting past Scotland or Israel.

Probably....I mean which elite club wouldn't be willing to part with 75 million euros for this amazing talent that is Haaland?

As said in another thread - the release clause is not active this summer.

Thanks for confirming this, I thought I read this a while ago myself. But recently I read online that his clause could be activated this summer, but that was from some shitty tabloid, so you are probably right Nudge.

I live in Scotland, no dictatorship here in haggis land :D

Don't know why they came up like that so I will have a shot at typing the link in and Google it, pity the lad never signed for United, sigh.

I mean none of us know for sure; they haven't exactly made it public haha. But every reliable and half-reliable media source (and Bild) all reported the same (release clause in 2021) so at this point I'm inclined to believe it.

Yes, to be honest it makes more sense that the release clause would only be allowed to be activated by 2021. I can't see Dortmund being foolish enough to spend that money capturing this class talent, only with the prospect of losing him as early as this summer.

Tried again and these came up O.o

Don't worry about it, it might be to do with the internet, Basil Faulty seems to like him though, you never know he might play for United one day but good on the lad, he chose Dortmund and that's the team I look for in Germany as I lived there. :D

Imo Dortmund is not the most beautiful city there is, but I'm glad you liked it. Did you ever attend a match in the Westfalenstadion?

I am afraid not, a lot of tours of duties in my army days there (Northern Ireland etc) plus I was single when I first landed in Germany and when you are young and free as the wind the German boozers would be our first port of call, especially when you finished a tour of duty and had not had a bevvy for 5/6 months lol, then getting married and settling into married life.

Anyway, better not de-rail this thread on young Haaland, this lad could go places, pity he has a fat twat of an agent in Raiola who just likes his bank balance, then again all football agents are like that and make money to burn and they could not give a shit.

Also the ‘United are trying to sign Haaland for €200million, but Keane ended his dads career so Raiola wants an extra €60million payment’.

Tbf to Raiola, he does whatever his client wants and produces pretty spectacular results for them. Look at Donnarumma, who wanted to stay at Milan but wanted a big pay rise... it was unseemly and it pissed a lot of Milan fans off at the time - but he got that fat increase to his wages (even though Raiola thought the player should have moved to a more competitive club).

Normally players want: 1.) money and 2.) to win things. Raiola delivers #1 to his clients routinely. And if you're a good player, Raiola will get you at a good club if you want him to.

He's a twat to deal with from a club perspective. And as supporters of football clubs, we're a bit biased - but agents like Raiola are necessary as football clubs are run more and more by ruthless businessmen rather than the old school chairmen of clubs who'd value loyalty and service.

Really the supporters ire should be directed at the players, rather than the agents, but again as supporters we are biased because we like the players that have done good things for us. And we don't want them to leave. A lot of the time players get to hide behind agents as though it's not really their doing, and the agent gets labeled a snake for just doing their job and acting in the interests of their players.

I obviously hate when that shite is done at Liverpool. But if you're a player, I imagine Raiola is the exact sort of agent you'd want to have - someone who'll shamelessly fight in your corner for whatever you want, and take all of the heat in public for you. Even though he's an absolute nightmare for clubs to deal with... he's a dream for players.

Fat fucking bastard though
