Goal Leverkusen!  Demirbay scores Leverkusen's second goal!

Porto 0-2 Leverkusen

It was excellent build up play that led to the goal. Havertz eventually picked out Demirbay and he finished well to score Leverkusen's 2nd goal of the game.

Raguz scores again!!! 2-0! Brilliant by LASK :D

Raguz has been developing so well this season.

LASK have in general been the surprise team of the Europa League this season, they have been excellent. They are winning convincingly once again.

It's also the way they play; instead of parking the bus they have been pressing aggressively and going forward. Good to see that being rewarded.

Leverkusen score a 3rd goal!! This time Havertz scores!

Porto 0-3 Leverkusen

What a dominant performance from Leverkusen tonight!

Havertz with an easy finish after Diaby ran towards goal and had his shot saved, Diaby controlled the rebound and slipped the unmarked Havertz to score into the empty net. It should be noted that Havertz initially put Diaby through on goal for that move.

Who needs Kevin Volland??

Excellent performance tonight by Leverkusen.

LASK will have problems in the next round though as both Wiesinger and Filipovic picked up yellows meaning they'll miss LASK's next match :3_grin:

That's just the problem with clubs like them, a great first 11, but there is a lack of depth on the bench. I mean it's not surprising for a club on their budget that this is the case. They are really punching above their weight this season with their impressive performances.

I was watching a bit of Porto - Leverkusen but the signal was awful and I gave up. Haven't heard Alario's name in a while though. Seems like it took him a bit to adjust but now he's scoring a lot.

Alario is a very good all round centre forward. He holds the ball up well, he's very good in the air and he's an accomplished scorer. But he does lack pace and that showed once again in the 1st half when he was put through on goal, but the Porto defenders quickly caught up with him.

Alario is very much a regular at Leverkusen, along with the other forwards Volland and Diaby. Now that Volland is injured for the rest of the season, Alario will be even more important for Leverkusen.

Yes, the fact that they play attacking and attractive football, makes their results all the more impressive.

Why is Lukaku playing?! Save him for Sunday ffs.

A bit surprising, but without having played this past weekend, makes sense to rest one striker and play another, so Conte chose to rest Martinez.
