SchalkeUK 402 Posted March 2, 2020 Share Posted March 2, 2020 Every 3 months - March, June, September and December my old group of kids from the 40's and 50's still meet to celebrate our 'exchanges' with the Ruhr which started in 1949 and some of us (sadly) became 'Knappen'. Tomorrow we will sit down for dinner and celebrate Thomas and his friends progress to the Semis, - the rest if us will try and avoid trying to calculate how many Bayern - minus Robert L - will be able to put past 04 with Alex Nubel's assistance. At least I will not be at home to watch ARD's coverage as no UKTV is being kind enough not to show the humiliation continuation after Saturday when even the BT commentator felt sorry for us! The only bright spot is the way Bayern dealt with our next opponents which gives us a little hope for the weekend. I might be preparing to send nudge a black dress for May and accept her sackcloth and ashes in return, but perhaps 'Carpe Diem' might be our watchwords for April.
