1-0 Burnley, classic Burnley in that it was a scrappy goal

Mourinho is being a massive bastard again. Results aren't going the way he wants so he's publicly throwing one of his players under the bus. He's not even being questioned about Ndombele, Mourinho is choosing to bring it up and make him look shit.

Oh wow, not even his third season too.

Tbf he’s never manager a club like Tottenham before. You can argue United was close, but they had a ton of money to throw at their problems which is his usual way of fixing problems. Spurs have got good players but they’ve been in poor form for a while despite making the CL final and have also suffered from a bit of an injury crisis.

It’ll be interesting to see how he does and if he’ll be given time to see through a project.

Don't get me wrong it's not great but I do wonder if it's kind of a challenge to Ndombele. Sink or swim.

He did it with Luke Shaw and to be fair he swam. He lost weight, he stopped living with his mates, he regained his focus and played his best football.

Tanguy N'Dombele was once quoted saying that chasing the ball against lesser teams was boring, or words to that effect. So hes kind of set to be Jose's fall guy.

Burney had to win this, so many chances. Late on they allowed Spurs to get that penalty and a few more decent chances.
