Bremen hold out!!!

Well done @nudge :D

That save at the end was key too! Freiburg had about 4 players waiting at the back post.

This could be a catalyst to save their season...

Finally a win AND a clean sheet! Massive 3 points here...

@Tommy please lose now. Thanks.

Congrats Nudge, that was a huge win for Werder. If Werder can string a few more positive results like this, hopefully they will find themselves lifted out of the relegation zone.

It definitely puts the pressure on teams just above you guys, mainly Dusseldorf.

But the next game against Gladbach becomes bigger! Have to take advantage of the win today otherwise it's in vain.

Also, is this you?

We also have a game in hand... So if Fortuna loses against Köln tomorrow, the gap between us and them would be only 2 points, with one match less played. Could be crucial...

As long as the light at the end of the tunnel is not the oncoming train... xD

Bit squeeky at the end with the sending off and the goal being disallowed but held on for the win... nice, a small glimmer of hope still

Yeah, a big part of it is definitely psychological. We started to sit back with over 15 minutes left to play, were getting more and more nervous... the same thing has cost us soooo many points this season already...I think before today we haven't won a single match were we took the lead early in the game.

It's obviously a damage limitation job for Frankfurt today against the mighty Bayern. However, Andre Silva is back in the starting line-up, which is positive news and the Frankfurt midfield looks respectable. But there is no doubt that Trapp in goal and the Austrian defensive partnership of Hinteregger and Ilsanker are going to be extremely busy today. Hopefully Frankfurt can shock the odds here, despite it being highly unlikely.

@nudge what was the keeper doing at the end! When the ball rebounded from the post, he just basically lay there and gave up! Shocking lack of respect for your defenders.

To be fair to Pavlenka, he is the one who is regularly being let down by his defenders... xD He's a bit shaky this season indeed, but otherwise he's been absolutely amazing ever since he signed for us.

Shite start to 2nd half for Frankfurt. Coman breaks free and plants a cross right on Lewa's head and he obviously won't miss from there. 3-0 game over.
