They've had a massive rest (due to the lockdown) and its like saying the summer was moved up so now they are playing a regular season. Obviously its okay for now but for a whole season? It's the same reason for nearly any change in football now - to aid those who have the biggest squads, aka, to assist the big clubs, as per nearly everything they do.
