Frank Lampard is keen to sign a new goalkeeper this summer after losing faith in Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was replaced by Willy Caballero for the Blues’ final game of the season against Wolves. Ter Stegen, 28, is considered one of the finest goalkeepers in the world and his ability on the ball appeals to Lampard, who wants his side to improve their play out from the back next term. Barcelona are keen on extending ter Stegen’s current deal, which expires in 2022.
