I cant help but think Real pulls this off.

If Man City can't hold on to their first leg lead, then they really should question their character as a team. They earned that crucial away win and if they want to be a highly respected team in Europe, then they should at least do the business at home this evening. They should approach this match as if it was a knockout game and forget about their 1st leg lead. The worst thing that they can do in my opinion, is to come out defensive and try to hold on to their 1st leg lead. That would be a very foolish thing to do against a side like Real Madrid. This season is a chance for Man City to make a real statement in Europe. I hope they don't bottle it tonight.

Judging from the line ups, Real should be winning this.

No Mahrez or Silva in the starting lineup for this big game. Foden is a really talented young player, but is he up for the challenge against Real Madrid? Only time will tell.

Not that I am a great fan of City's but would like them to go through because I am even less of a fan of Madrid...

Man City score through Sterling!! It's was a huge mistake in defence which lead to the goal.

Sterling has a long range effort fly over the bar.

Decent save by Ederson from Hazard's low long range shot.

When City are on, pressing, slick intricate passing, they look unstoppable. But then for whatever reason this team always seems to have a goal for whoever they’re playing

And Madrid get a goal. Comeback on the cards?

It was a solid and accurate header by Benzema from a lovely cross by Rodrygo, after the Brazilian did some excellent work down the right flank.

I honestly don't see how anybody can not rate Benzema. He looks even better not without Ronaldo overshadowing his talent.

Nice header, poor marking 3-2

City's defence is the worry tonight from their perspective. I hope City hold out and advance, hopefully they will score again.

Walker with a lovely solo run, going past several players, but his ballooned shot left a lot to be desired.

Courtois did well a few minutes ago to make that save.

Man City ended the half better, but I still think Real will pull off the win.  Good back and forth flow to the game.

Surely Stones should be starting?

Otamendi should of started with Laporte

Man City force another good save from Courtois. Real Madrid look the more balanced side, but I think that City have more firepower going forward. I think City should do enough to get through, even though Madrid will be encouraged by the current scoreline.

Pep should of started this team

Ederson

Walker - Otamendi - Laporte - Cancelo

De Bruyne - Rodrigo - Silva

Bernardo - Jesus - Sterling
