The 24-year-old midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates and did not feature in their Community Shield victory over Liverpool nor was he included in the squad for their win at Fulham at the weekend. Atletico wants to sign Torreira but Arsenal are insisting any deal is a permanent move. Romano says Atletico are set to return with a new bid for the Uruguay international.
