Former French giants Stade de Reims currently playing their first European match in 57 years. They're facing Swiss club Servette in the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League and currently lead 1-0 thanks to a 4th minute goal by new signing Valon Berisha.

If they win they'll play Hungarian club Fehérvár FC in the next round.

They won 1-0 away at Servette and will play away from home again in the next round against Fehérvár.

If they win that, they'll face either Standard Liège or Vojvodina, away from home yet again.

PSG 1-2 Man Utd
Stade Rennais 1-1 Krasnodar
Olympiakos 1-0 Olympique de Marseille
Bayer Leverkusen 6-2 OGC Nice
Sparta Prague 1-4 Lille

Thank god for Lille. Awful opening round of matches for the French clubs until their win.

Nice weren't actually that bad, they marched Leverkusen for most of the match, dominated in parts, but once the 3rd went in they collapsed.

I'm glad to see Lille get off to a winning start. Last year in the CL they played very well but just couldn't get the results. Now they have more European experience and are playing in a weaker competition, so they should be aiming to go relatively far.
