I'm using the same terminology that I argued against in that thread but it's a different discussion for me. I can't be arsed going into why right now though because it'll just get lost in the sea of posts right now.

Look at Spurs though. Mourinho is deemed to be a chequebook manager in many quarters, yet here Ndombele, Aurier, even Lamela among those tearing Man Utd apart here despite having not initially been instant hits at Tottenham (yes, it's one game, but it's an example). If you apply the logic Gary Neville wants to apply to Solskjaer to Spurs instead, then Mourinho should be expecting Spurs to sign more players to replace those three but here he is putting them back in the side and getting a performance out of them.

But yes, you could make the same allegation of Guardiola in that respect, fair enough.

Things have gone a bit against Man Utd with the red card and Spurs upping their game today. A defeat under those circumstances wouldn't be a disaster but it's the complete lack of resilience or response from them that's a real concern. Spurs should be eyeing at least a couple more before full time.

Neville's analysis is actually pretty poor. He can't be objective because of his emotional attachments. He can't bring himself to criticise Ole. The fact he continues to do this ranting during the game, as a commentator, is piss poor really. Save it for after the game.

All the more reason to have neutral commentators for every game.

Definitely a penalty but Wan-Bissaka got sold the dummy so easily.

He's always liable to do that. Absolutely loves flying into a tackle when he doesn't need to and can leave his team exposed when he misses it. It's the sort of thing a good coach would refine and turn him into a much better player because he is great at tackling

A player like Cavani can get big money anywhere he goes, surely watching this puts doubt in his mind? Same goes for Telles, hes hardly going to be one of Utd's absolute top earners, why the fuck come into this shit show? Wait till january and get a nice move.

Said it earlier mate, Cavani is the wrong player for them . He needs 10 chances for one goal, flop of the season incoming.

It's becoming a sign of players who look at this and go "hey, I want to get paid £150k a week and be able to get away with murder too".
