Ok, so looks like Southgate will stick with the 3-4-3 tonight no doubt. Not got a problem with that but let's hope he plays players in positions they excel at and we show positive improvement from the Denmark game.

I'd like to see Saka and James given opportunities as the wing backs. We know what Trent can do, give him a rest. Let those have a chance to show what they have been doing for their clubs. Having a natural left footer in Saka should provide greater balance than Trippier did.

One defensive midfielder please, whether that is Kalvin or Rice, but just ONE so it gives one player a chance to flourish in the position he likes than both negating the other.

And I don't think we need to see Kane tonight. I'd like to see Ings or DCL up top personally with Grealish wide left as he's been playing for Villa. Give's him a fair crack of the whip then seeing as Sterling and Sancho are absent.

Calvert-Lewin and Grealish deserve the start.

The midfield of Winks and Phillips could be a bit more adventurous...

I fully expect us to crush Wales and if we don't everyone needs sacking..

1-0. Grealish switches to the right wing and immediately sets up Calvert-Lewin to head in. Nice goal.

Too easy there. Static defending from Brentford's finest.

Had the freedom of West London there to be fair to get his header in!

Maintain this is just the single most stupid game to play. A first half injury for Wales too for good measure. What a pointless way to get injured.

Means we have Glatzel and (insert player here) as our striking options now. :dash3:

That's a very good goal. Beckham-esque cross. Coady's finished that really well with outside of his right foot to be fair.

3-0. Ings with an overhead kick. No marking again.

This formation from England is utterly depressing.

I've felt that a lot about England since the last World Cup tbh.
