Apparently it's a £20m fine each as a suspended punishment, but the current fine is £20m COMBINED. So it's around £3.5m each. Absolutely laughable. Barely scratches the surface.

It’s more laughable than I thought it would be. I was expecting at least 10m each right off the bat.

Hahaha they've actually called it a 'gesture of goodwill'.

This is becoming such a farce. PL/FA have no backbone.

Should have gone in much harder. Not dressed it up as such. Pathetic.

The climb down from the respective leagues, FA’s and UEFA has been nothing short of embarrassing, it become more and more likely that the punishment was either going to be lenient or non existent as the weeks went on.

But hey, we have the Euros now that UEFA fucked about with for their own greed so shut up and watch everyone.

That'll teach them.

No doubt we will be in a similar situation in 4 to 5 years time and on the next occasion they'll be more prepared for the inevitable backlash which will make any potential withdrawals for clubs more difficult to implement.

The lack of backbone is absolutely laughable.

Guess that's something for their FAs to deal with...

It'll take the big super sky six a few years to find a loophole in the automatic fine and points deduction they've signed up to before they try again at least .

Laughable levels of corruption. How on earth are the clubs themselves negotiating the fines? This episode was a real chance to turn things around - but nope, they've proven this is completely OK.

A combined £20mil. It's just embarrassing how openly the authorities admit that they're anything but exactly that. These clubs are more powerful than any governing body and anybody who had any doubts will no longer do so.

Fully expect it to be back - this time probably without a PR job that Theresa May would be ashamed of.

This would've probably been more effective.
