I once burned my hand/palm with boiling oil; the pain (or rather the feeling of constant burning) was so immense that I could only sleep with my hand fully immersed in a large bowl of cool water - and I didn't even get any blisters, so that was not really a bad burn. Same. That is phenomenal footage though. When you see how close his head was to the part of the barrier that the halo just bumped up a little, it just goes to show how important it was.
