Just saw the goal again. I know the ball was already in but Neuer actually did well to get a foot on the 2nd shot. That player should have done better anyway so he was lucky Petersen actually had scored just before.

Quite a return for Luka Jovic. 2-1.

What a return at that! It was a superbly struck volley as Jovic found space in the area. I'm looking forward to the Silva and Jovic partnership upfront for Frankfurt this season.

Good shot by Silva there. The prospect of Silva partnered upfront with Jovic this season really is pleasing. Bobic has once again done well to clinch the Jovic loan. I only wish we had an option to buy him at the end of the season, but I guess that is too much to ask. Jovic's technique when he strikes the ball is usually second to none. He's an excellent finisher and in my mind he's already proved himself to be a top notch player when he played for Frankfurt first time around. Dost alongside Silva wasn't bad, but Jovic is levels better than Dost in most areas of the game.

I anticipate Frankfurt climbing up the table in the next couple of months. A top 5 finish is very possible.
