However, referees backed their linesman 100% when they raised their flags before VAR and that’s what I’m taking about. You have to credit Pep because tactically he's pushed Gundogan up and it's paid off. We've never seen this kind of scoring form from him. Also that Cancelo is having an absolute storming season. Sometimes it seems weird to think he is a Right Back looking at the positions he gets in. He always pops up centrally on the edge of the box, it's mad. I'm used to seeing it with Ayling and Dallas but the difference being Cancelo has tons more quality and end product. He's going to be knocking on Team of the Year at this rate. Fair play to him.
