Frankfurt have been much the better side in the opening 20 minutes. The squad also seems to have gotten a lot more depth. The likes of Andre Silva and Durm who are both out injured and Sow, who is suspended, don't seem to be missed too much, which is testament to the strength in depth that the side now have. Bayern have injury concerns of their own, but they will really need to play at their best to get something out of this game it seems.

Frankfurt hold out for the big win over Bayern. Great result achieved without the injured Andre Silva and Durm as well as the suspended Sow who has been great in midfield for most of the season. Frankfurt are flying, while Bayern will need to pick themselves up and recover in time for their Champions League match away to Lazio.
