So for me even though it looks over this three game period could either extend it further or drag them back in a little bit to make it more interesting. Points thrown away at Wigan and at home against Everton gave you the oppurtunity to climb above us at the Etihad. Lucas 3,825 Posted February 21, 2021 Share Posted February 21, 2021 To be frank, I think City have scared so many teams into retreating from the off that they pay far too much respect, sit back and just invite the pressure onto themselves. Obviously they are so good at what they do and I understand they can win the game just like that if you make a couple quick mistakes, but this is not the way. What's the point? May as well give them the 3pts and concentrate on the next game. Sometimes its worth having a go and trying to force them back at the start. We've got them again in April and I can't wait to have another go at them. I think we're one of the few that actually will. They could've easily had a couple more if they were a bit more ruthless. Our only hope is our left side, we need the next goal otherwise I don't see us coming back.
