We've been poor tonight but Pukki has thrown himself to the ground about 3 or 4 times tonight in a bid to score

Really needed a result here tonight, or a draw at least, I can see you being sucked into the play offs at this rate..

Not really, not a team in the league as good as Norwich and the reality of it was that Norwich didn't deserve much more than a 1-0 win whilst we missed Henry, Jansson, Norgaard starting and Dasilva. Norgaard will start more games coming up, Dasilva will come back to fitness and so will Jansson and we won't play teams that have Aarons, Buendia, Pukki etc in their teams. Game could easily have been a 1-1 game with still a poor performance from us. If we come back and win our next game it's 3 wins in 4 and how our current form is viewed changes.

Woke up in a better mood than yesterday. Our final mid-week game of the sat-wed-sat-wed slog, now we'll get a week or two between mid-week games. Of course it was against Norwich, of course 4 of our best players were out injured, it has been the story of the season. Yet we're still second somehow, don't think anyone in the top 6 has suffered anywhere near the injuries we have this season. Completely believe if Pontus and Norgaard stayed fit all season we'd be properly up there with Norwich. But we're not and we're engrossed in a battle for 2nd.

The game was drab, Norwich has more chances on goal than us but both teams only had one clear cut, should have scored goal. Us was Canos, their's was Pukki. Both missed, unfortunately Buendia scored a class goal that our defence didn't want to close down and that settled it. But we played poorly, could have got a draw, based on missed chances tbh cos Toney had a great chance for a one on one but mis-hit it, and the penalty shout we had when you look at the Swansea penalty given, we deserved a draw out of this game. The performance put in didn't deserve points, but weirdly, based on chances, we still could have got a draw last night. So yeah, weird one, but we played Norwich with a depleted first eleven and whilst playing badly we almost didn't deserve to lose, but we still did cos we played badly. Weird one, but I'll take that as a loss rather than a 3-4-5 goal thumping.

Pukki was terrible last night too, Ivan Toney was just isolated out of the game but Pukki had decent chances and done nothing with them. Then towards the end of the game he just started flinging himself to the floor. But Norwich won and that's what matters.

Wanted this game to be over with, knew we didn't really have the team to compete, the slog of the season is slowing down and players will begin to find more rest days. The good news is that Marcondes was on the bench again and Norgaard will be starting fit very soon, Jansson is due back after the internationals and apparently so is Dasilva. We now have an opportunity to put some/a winning streak together as I think we're more capable of that than Swansea or Watford are. Genuinely do believe we're the better team than both and have the ability to put another consistent run together but our final two games out of our last 3 that we playwill be against Watford and Bournemouth so that will be tough at the crunch end of this season.
