This match tonight is one of the rare occasions we are in better form than a team. 4 losses, and a win for us in the last 5. 4 losses, and a draw for Carlisle. Fine margins but I'll take any advantage we can get. We really need a win in this one as we're running quickly out of games to save ourselves.

I was just about to make a post about Grimsby finally winning another game.

Then they go and concede a 93rd minute equaliser to Carlisle the absolute berks

Just wait. They'll get another one deep into added time.

On more positive news, Grimsby are learning how to lead games @Pyfish

Just need to work on keeping the lead now. We were desperately unlucky tonight.

Really unlucky. We should have put it beyond doubt but we made the wrong substitutions in taking our best players off at the wrong time thinking the game was won.

Lee Johnson has got Sunderland motoring. 6 wins in their last 7 and from looking at playoffs, they are now firmly in the automatic race.

I hope Peterborough don't blow it but they are wobbling.

Absolutely. He's been a breath of fresh air for them recently. Seems to have got the likes of Charlie Wyke up to scratch too who was looking a little bit useless under the previous few managers.

They'll do a Bristol City esque collapse soon.
