There was defo a cap on what we thought he was worth, wasting £100 on Greelish meant we couldn't over spend on Kane too though

But you could if you really wanted to, there would be no consideration of sell on value or wages, there wouldn't need to be a discussion about funds.

You could just press the button and do the transfer without any financial consideration. Only yourself, Newcastle and PSG can do that and it's not fair for competition.

Chelsea were borderline as it was but the money involved with the Arabs is destroying competition in sport. Its turning it into formula one, best car, best driver, best engine.

Just makes it boring and predictable.

City will sign Haaland this summer and its game over for everyone once they do.

United have out spent us over the last 5 years though which proves it's not just about money. you can have all the bricks in the world but if you have a cunt building the house its going to fall down

Read back on my posts, I said it's not just the playing side.

It's not a level playing field no matter how you stick up for City. We've spent a fortune, agreed. That was to try and bridge a gap, unfortunately we've had to keep spending the replace the huge mistakes we've been making.

Have they though? On transfer fees alone, then probably. On dodgy background deals for the families of players though? Houses in Dubai? Cars, jobs for extended family etc? You’re dirtier than my car and it’s hasn’t been washed in years.

Rumour starting to circulate that Haaland is injury prone, £170m think that ship has sailed perhaps £120m.

Rumours?

You either are or you aren't?

Not necessarily they still have to get him to play with the team, we have seen with Lukaku that the system is very important.

There may be a backlash if the money outlay becomes habitual and will probably lead to calls for a stronger version of FFP.

He specifically said only a few months ago that he wants to play in a stadium with fantastic atmosphere.

Has he actually ever watched City at home?

Well he was a season ticket holder so... 😂

Isn't Haaland value supposed to drop given his current ankle injury, that is actually going to affect his work rate, check out what Marco Rose had to say about this

In todays crazy Market he's worth 150million at least, best striker on the planet

He only plays 2/3s of a season because he's more injury prone than Harry Kane.

He won't last in this league getting kicked all over your empty stadium

He's more often injury than healthy these days. Dortmund can be more than happy if they get close to what the rumoured price is.

60 something million, they would of got a lot more if he didn't have a release clause

I've been saying for weeks that he's a crock.  I'll take the 75m in the release clause and let's move on.  He wants 30m in wages...he can fuck off somewhere else.

Man United fans pissing themselves over city yet have spent 80m or more on Pogba, Sancho, McGuire.  I'm sure fernandes cost a ton and Ronaldo takes home half a bar a week.

Newcastle may have money but the statement out the club suggests progressive rather than revolutionary players.   The club has capped wages at 200k.

Dortmund will not get close to 170m anyway

He has a release clause of around £67m so yeah, they won't get close to £170m.

that's interesting, so why are man United fans screaming about other rich clubs?   we have only spent 40m as a record, man United have spent much higher sums of money.

in a way its also nice to see people threatened.  Spurs, Man U are probably the first clubs we start to hunt down and pass.  Liverpool and City will take a few years to catch up to, but maybe in 3 or 4 years Liverpool's squad ages and needs major overhauls.   it's all part of the game.

The main problem you have is you can only spend what you bring in so you are going to need to grow as a business before you can spend big, it's going to take along time mate before you can consistently challenge for the title and attract the top players, get comfy and enjoy the journey
