It's not a level playing field no matter how you stick up for City. We've spent a fortune, agreed. On transfer fees alone, then probably. On dodgy background deals for the families of players though? Houses in Dubai? Cars, jobs for extended family etc? Not necessarily they still have to get him to play with the team, we have seen with Lukaku that the system is very important. Spurs, Man U are probably the first clubs we start to hunt down and pass. Liverpool and City will take a few years to catch up to, but maybe in 3 or 4 years Liverpool's squad ages and needs major overhauls. it's all part of the game.
