Arminia about to win against Freiburg? A big step towards survival for them...

Deserved win too. They even had some good chances to make it 2-0.

Köln on 17th now. :27_sunglasses:

And we are getting closer and closer to relegation zone again. Hope Mainz v Köln is a draw :3_grin:

If you can hold out for a draw against RB Leipzig, that should be a good enough result. It's interesting that Mainz will play Koln, Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen in their next 3 Bundesliga fixtures, all clubs still battling to avoid relegation. The next few weeks look critical in determining who is going to avoid the relegation places.

I still think that Mainz will end up in the bottom 3 though, alongside Koln and rock bottom Schalke. Mainz will have to face Frankfurt, Dortmund and Wolfsburg in their last 3 fixtures and to be honest, I can't see them even getting a point from those 3 matches.

Hummels out with stomach cramps. He looked really worn out.

Given what @Whiskey tells me, time of the month can be a really, really horrible thing to experience.

Annnnnnd we're back to praying for other results to stay out of trouble.

I'm rooting for you guys, but I'd love to see Mainz winning against Köln.

Schalke. :o

C'mon Tommy - it's a long time since we went in at half-time with a lead - and no dog on the end of it!  Nice present  for Herr Serdar on his birthday today, but we will have a full team on the field when the left side gets someone who wants to play rather then just walk about and give the ball to the opposition - even his throwing in has no accuracy! Sadly I am not one of those who think there is still a chance of escape - the next fixtures would normally not all be ones we would expect to win so book some seats for the Duss/Derby!

To be blunt, if a team that amassed 10 points  in 27 matches and won the great amount of one of them, while trailing the second worst team in the league by more points that they have, really expect to win games in this league their arrogance borders to delusion.

Arrogance?  Learn English and the proper meaning of the word!  We have been awful this season and no one has ever pretended otherwise - the leadership - mainly from upstairs has been abysmal and their choices for coaches/managers have caused this problem - the players (most of them) have tried without success or support and BL2 is the obvious answer.  Rebuilding with the best of the youngsters has to be the answer but how many of them will we let go (as usual) depends on what the men upstairs do!  The supporters will just have to look on and hope someone makes the correct decisions  Where arrogance sits within that sort of realism is nowhere to be seen.  Sadness would be a far better choice of word!  Incidentally 'borders to delusion' needs some grammatical explanation! Don't teach the teachers!

Just learnt today is the last Buli match played on Monday for the foreseeable future. It's the last for this season and there will be no Monday matches in the coming seasons because of the fans protesting against them.B|

Fan power works for once :D
