Not to overstate it, but Philips’ passing has been quite nice so far - he’s playing good balls with pace infield, even under a bit of pressure at times.

Yep, certainly not something we've seen much of from him but he's been decent on the ball tonight

Don't think he claimed? He clearly slipped.

Liverpool have been very good, could have easily had at least 2 for their efforts.

Have to say I find the criticism of Mane strange. Been involved in a lot of good things in that half

He has been involved in loosing the ball nearly every time he has had it. And not while trying anything, he just misses a simple pass, or doesn't know what to do with the ball... In general Liverpool doesn't seem hungry and Mané is the least hungry of them imo

Militão has been very good.

This game badly needs a Liverpool goal. That would make things very interesting.

I have faith in them! One goal means Real get nervous, naturally.

Barca scored 3 in the final 7 minutes in that comeback against PSG.

It's possible! And they only need 2!

Nonsense. Liverpool have been very good, haven't taken chances though. And Mane put one on a plate for Salah inside the first few minutes

Shaq. will change this dynamic but subbed in too late

Don't think he will.

Jota should have started. Has shown when he's played he makes an impact. Definitely would have buried one of those chances in the first half if it fell to him.

Absolutely. Firmino has been absolutely crap tonight. Mane has ran around a bit and nearly put Firmino through early on but otherwise he hasn’t been very good either.

To not even score one goal tonight is so so poor. I’ve been so disheartened watching this last 15 minutes. Nobody wants to take the responsibility on to have a shot on goal. Apart from Milner’s shot, Courtois hasn’t really faced much at him. Quite fucking shit when we needed two goals and didn’t even manage one with the chances we had.

Casemiro or Militao as man of the match.

The former because he seemed to dominate that central midfield. Tackles, blocks, interceptions, the lot.

Militao cos he was just in front of anything Liverpool posed, especially Firmino. Like Hernandez last night for Bayern.

I think Klopp got his selection wrong and Jota really should have started. In the first few minutes we were far better than how we ended the game and all that was missing was someone to score goals. Can't be unhappy with that as we fucked ourselves over in the first leg.
