What benefit do we get exactly from him loaned out with 2 years left on his deal? Now is the time to sell him. Wants to be a regular starter.

His value increasing at a time when the market begins to show signs of recovery from covid.

With only a year remaining on his contract as opposed to two. There will be buyers.

People will be willing to pay top dollar for a young English forward that can score in the Premier League regardless of how long is left on his contract. They're very hard to come by.

And with 1 year remaining on his contract we lose all bargaining power on said young English forward, something Marina is notoriously known not to give up. No way we loan vs sell this summer.

Not necessarily, if he's as good as people believe there will likely be more suitors next summer once clubs begin to recover from the impact of covid increasing the likelihood of a bidding war. There's no right or wrong answer but Chelsea still potentially have a lot to gain by him going on loan and impressing elsewhere.

Yep, been terrible for Jesse Lingard's transfer value who also has a year left on his contract.

This. Abraham scoring 15-20 on loan at a Leicester or West Ham would make him much more valuable than he is right now.

Except Lingard is a player that showed signs of declining prior to his move whereas Abraham is a proven goal scorer and can only get better. He’s still our top goal scorer and he barely plays.

Again, no way we loan him.

Surely these are reasons why he should be loaned out to allow the market an opportunity to recover to increase his value.

The same market where Watkins went for 30 million and Silva for 40. Think we’ll be fine finding suitors.

Many journalists and managers have commentated stating they are expecting this summer to be more flat than last summer.

Again, there's no right or wrong answer, but Chelsea have a lot to gain by loaning him to another Premier League club regardless of his contract situation.

I mean it’s all hypothetical. If he goes on loan and looks shit, that’s no value gained letting him go on loan. If he goes out on loan and looks good, they can probably sell him at an inflated price

or goes out on loan and gets injured, now with one less year on the contract

I think the problem with loaning or selling him to the hammers is strengthening a direct rival on the table

I wouldn't be worried about West Ham potentially finishing above Chelsea when fans are back. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how that dynamic plays out.

That said in a loan scenario he would have a clause where he can't play against Chelsea so effectively he will be there taking points off of potential title rivals. A bit like the Lukaku/Everton scenario.

Agreed. The question was: "What benefit do we get exactly from him loaned out with 2 years left on his deal?" for "a proven goal scorer and can only get better". So if he's as good as Chelsea fans perceive him to be you'll imagine it will be the latter scenario.
