People will be willing to pay top dollar for a young English forward that can score in the Premier League regardless of how long is left on his contract. They're very hard to come by. Not necessarily, if he's as good as people believe there will likely be more suitors next summer once clubs begin to recover from the impact of covid increasing the likelihood of a bidding war. Many journalists and managers have commentated stating they are expecting this summer to be more flat than last summer. Again, there's no right or wrong answer, but Chelsea have a lot to gain by loaning him to another Premier League club regardless of his contract situation. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how that dynamic plays out. That said in a loan scenario he would have a clause where he can't play against Chelsea so effectively he will be there taking points off of potential title rivals. The question was: "What benefit do we get exactly from him loaned out with 2 years left on his deal?" for "a proven goal scorer and can only get better".
