Not the worst draws for Rangers and Celtic. Rangers should come through fairly comfortable, while it is a winnable tie for Celtic. Still remains to be seen what level of crowds will be allowed for them at home.

That defence for Celtic looks shaky at best. How Ralston is still at Celtic, never mind starting, is unbelievable.

They'll need to score multiple times tonight, as I can't see a clean sheet happening for them.

A quality free kick, but yet another bad moment for Barkas. Should be doing much better with it.

Midtjylland showed their quality in rare moments yesterday, but Celtic should have been comfortably ahead throughout the game. A moment of madness from Bitton looks to have cost them dearly. Celtic looked better going forward but, as predicted, their defence looks shaky at best. With a lack of quality with their full backs, they often delayed some good attacking play with no real ability to take on defenders or put in a decent delivery in for Édouard.

Can't register anyone else before the second leg, their centre backs will likely be a 21 year old (who just broke into the team) and an 18 year old. I thought it would be a tough start for Ange, but it's starting even earlier.

12 minutes ago, Stan said:

Celtic losing in extra-time. CL journey could be over before it's barely even begun.

The winner of the tie faces PSV. Celtic are just cutting out the middle man and going straight to the Europa League now...

Their goalkeeper and back four in this game is bottom half Scottish Premiership standard, at best.

This is definitely not Postecoglou's making. This goes back to Celtic not sacking Lennon last November, not bringing in a new manager until June, and not having a replacement for Peter Lawwell until this summer either.

They dragged out as much from their players who wanted to leave after Rodgers departure, Edouard was clearly uninterested last night and should have been sold last summer for full value, and have had catastrophic misses with transfer. Eyeing short term over the long term, even with the huge gap they had over Rangers until a couple of years ago.

Now with two, far from straight forward games, to reach the Europa League group stage, it's no certainty that they'll make it. If they had at least beat a very mediocre Midtjylland team, they'd have been guaranteed at least that. That guaranteed cash alone could have seen Celtic being proactive with transfers in the next few weeks, now it's far from certain.

Let's be honest FCM aren't shit and Celtic had no right to expect to beat them, FCM were actually playing in the Champions League last season and will have access to a better pool of players.
