Does anyone care about Olympic soccer?  Not trying to be a dick... just genuinely curious.  I know I don't follow the US team.

Kind of. Anything's better than watching the Main National Team at the moment.

Also, how can you not be hooked after seeing this?

I lol'd at the manager's name

But really, who gives a fuck about Olympic football?

Laughing at Stefan Kuntz's name is so 1996.

Well he has an International title,  which is more than can be said about Cruyff.

I Wasn't talking about Cunts, was talking about looking forward to win the Olympic title which means nothing

You knew, he's the player who not only scored the 1-1, but also scored the penalty after Sheringham missed? Genuine question?:)

I barely remember anything about 1996 other than Gareth Southgate missing

Just read the Olympic Games will go ahead without any attendance allowed. So the players will be playing matches nobody cares about with no spectators instead of preparing for their next important task through taking part at the pre season. Was, zum Teufel, soll das?

PS: Know the Olympics are often seen as a good opportunity to mix with sports people from other sports and countries. Since the the Covid regulations are valid during the games, even this benefit is obsolete, though.

Not sure the point exactly.

Imagine getting hurt playing in those shitty conditions.

If we have in fact signed Dorsch, that would mean 3 players on the German Olympic team. Just come home lads.

I'm rather excited to see what Germany does against tomorrow against Brazil. Match is in roughly...9 hours, so I need to either get some sleep or put a pot of coffee one.
